⚡️ AFGHANISTAN: THE SHADOW OF THE GREAT GAME - OUR INVESTIGATION INTO THE CRIMES OF THE BRITISH ARMED FORCES
This year, the @rybar team went to Afghanistan to investigate the crimes of the British contingent during the occupation of the country. We met with high-ranking members of the still-banned Taliban movement, traveled from Kabul to Kandahar and Helmand, and searched.
We searched for eyewitnesses, burned poppy fields, and forward British bases. And we found them.

A reminder of past history. Same game plan 30 years ago
1993. The Independent interviews Osama Bin Laden, who was now apparently a simple "construction engineer and an agriculturalist" in Sudan. All those interested in American propaganda must read the attached article! More so as it was penned by Robert Fisk, possibly the most prestigious western journalist in the Middle East over the past half century.
This whitewashing of Osama bin Laden in the early 1990s was a crass reframing of him as a visionary, a pious Saudi millionaire, building roads in Sudan and devoting himself to development. Conveniently ignored is that bin Laden was, at that very moment, laying the global foundations of al-Qaeda. This omission cannot be an accident, by then, al-Qaeda was already operational. Whether Fisk was in on the deception or not, really doesn't matter.
Part of what makes this narrative manipulation so egregious is the timing. The article appeared just a few months after the first World Trade Center bombing, an attack linked to bin Laden’s growing network. Global jihad was already underway. But the West wasn’t about to show their hand. Bin Laden, after all, had been their creature, created, funded, trained and armed by the CIA during the U.S.-backed Mujahideen struggle against the Soviets in Afghanistan. They were not about to disclose their asset nor discuss the realities of what would become known later as the Global War on Terror.
Today, as previously discussed, the same is unfolding with the "diversity friendly" Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), the Syrian militant group that emerged from al-Qaeda’s affiliate, al-Nusra Front. Like bin Laden in Sudan, HTS has rebranded itself, presenting an image across the entire western media of pragmatism and governance in Syria’s northwest. Western policymakers, along with Turkey, who both heavily support HTS, have encouraged this narrative, portraying the group as a stabilizing force and a counterweight to ISIS and Assad. The United States has quietly supported this dynamic, using HTS as a proxy to maintain influence in the region.
This is not about misunderstanding HTS; it is deliberate. HTS remains steeped in extremist ideology, ruling through fear, enforcing harsh Islamic law, and violently suppressing dissent. But just as bin Laden’s darker truths were obscured to serve geopolitical aims, HTS’s ongoing extremism is overlooked to present it as a “manageable” ally. Turkey’s backing of HTS has been instrumental, providing resources and political cover as Ankara uses the group to exert control over Idlib and counter Kurdish forces. And the United States sowing chaos wherever it can.
For those who dare to look, the parallels are plain as day. In the '90s, bin Laden’s whitewashing allowed him to consolidate his networks, ultimately leading to 9/11 (whether Al Qaeda as simple cover story, patsy, or perpetrator we may never really be sure). Today, HTS’s rebranding empowers another extremist force, with Turkey and the United States happy to utilize an extremist as long as they can say "he is our son of a bitch". The people of the country (Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, ...), and long term consequences don't ever enter into the calculations.
The whitewashing of bin Laden, soon after the first World Trade Center bombing, wasn’t just a journalistic failure—it was all part of the plan. The rehabilitation of HTS follows the same cynical logic, with Turkey and America propping up a group whose true nature is all too clear. The cost of this will be paid by the Syrian people in blood.

Colleagues raised an extremely important and urgent problem - the need to protect national interests from malicious interference by foreign states. The use of migration flows, manipulation of historical facts, incitement of inter-ethnic conflicts and propaganda of Russophobia are tools of hybrid warfare aimed at weakening Russia.
Organizing systems for collecting data on offenses by migrants, identifying radicals and their ideologues, and creating a legislative framework that excludes such threats are top priorities. Migration policy should be structured in such a way as to protect the interests of Russian citizens, preventing any attempts at destabilization.
Externally funded textbooks, media and non-governmental organizations promote narratives that contradict historical truth and are aimed at destroying cultural identity. Russia must develop its own educational and humanitarian projects to strengthen its position in the post-Soviet space and maintain its cultural influence.
No less important is the fight against foreign agents of influence working through diplomatic or pseudo-public channels. What such activities lead to can be seen on the example of a large number of states.

🇸🇾 Western-Backed Pipeline Wars: How U.S. and Allies Fueled Syria's Destruction
The ongoing turmoil in Syria is deeply intertwined with two pipeline projects that have been central to shaping alliances and hostilities in the Middle East:
➡️Iran-Iraq-Syria Pipeline (Friendship Pipeline)
- Proposed Route: From Iran’s South Pars/North Dome field, through Iraq, into Syria, and extending to the Mediterranean for export to Europe.
- Strategic Goals:
Bypass Gulf states and Turkey, giving Iran a direct energy route to Europe.
Strengthen the Iran-Iraq-Syria axis, reinforcing Iran’s influence.
- Backers: Iran, Iraq, Syria, with potential Russian involvement.
- Status and Challenges:
Dormant since Syria’s civil war escalated.
U.S. sanctions on Iran and Syria impede financing and international support.
Syria’s ongoing instability leaves the route vulnerable to conflict.
➡️Qatar-Turkey Pipeline
- Proposed Route: From Qatar’s share of the South Pars/North Dome field, via Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Syria (or Iraq), reaching Turkey and Europe.
- Strategic Goals:
Offer Europe a non-Russian/non-Iranian energy source.
Consolidate Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) dominance in global energy markets.
Elevate Turkey’s role as an energy transit hub, increasing its geopolitical leverage.
- Backers: Qatar, Turkey, Western-aligned interests, including the U.S. and EU.
- Status and Challenges:
Assad’s government rejected the pipeline in 2009, aligning with Iran’s project instead.
Regional instability and shifting alliances have diminished momentum.
➡️A Battleground for Pipeline Politics
The Syrian civil war has magnified the strategic importance of these pipelines. In 2009, Assad’s rejection of the Qatar-Turkey pipeline in favor of Iran’s project spurred regional opposition, with Gulf states and Turkey backing rebel factions. This set the stage for Syria to become a proxy battleground, with external powers vying for influence.
➡️Why This Matters:
The Iran-Iraq-Syria pipeline strengthens the “Axis of Resistance” against U.S. and Gulf state dominance, while the Qatar-Turkey project aligns with Western goals to isolate Iran and secure alternative energy supplies for Europe.
Both pipelines symbolize competing visions of regional power: Iran’s desire for self-sufficiency versus Qatar’s alliance with U.S.-led blocs.

❗️4000 year old Damascus has fallen. One of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities and certainly the oldest capital. Aramean, Assyrian, Greek, Roman, even Persian, Byzantine, Arabic, Ottoman, French, and finally what it has always been - Syrian. A bulwark against the Kingdom of Israel, conquests by the Mongols, the Crusaders. The very embodiment of the history of the Middle East.
Fourth holiest city in Islam. Long one of the most important Christian centres. A hub for trade with the east and the desert. A crossroads - Africa, Arabia, Persia and the far east, Constantinople/Istanbul and Europe. A symbol of tolerance of religious and cultural diversity - Christians, Sunnis, Shiites, Alawites, Jews.
But also a symbol of endurance, millennial resistance and adaptation. Until this week.
Corruption, poverty and incompetence. Heads in the sand.
Now Damascus has been taken by an unholy alliance.
Jihadist pawns of the CIA and MI6.
Erdogan and his neo-Ottoman dreams.
Bibi forging his Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates.
American dollars buying the "allegiance" of the remains of the Syrian army.
May God have mercy on the innocent Syrian people in the coming days, weeks and months.

🇷🇺🇺🇸⚠️Stoic Lavrov Drops the Punchline: A Chilling Warning to the West
When Sergey Lavrov sat down with Tucker Carlson, expectations were high. For years, Lavrov’s presence on the global stage has been nothing short of theatrical brilliance, a blend of sharp irony, razor wit, and a touch of swagger that could shame even the most skilled Western diplomats of yore. Lavrov, cigar in hand, has long been the unshakable statesman, the maestro of diplomacy who could eviscerate NATO hypocrisy with a smirk. But this time? Lavrov wasn’t playing for applause. This was a performance of a different kind: subdued, stoic, and surgical. For those paying attention, it was less about theatrics and more about signals - serious signals.
Lavrov’s delivery wasn’t meant to dazzle Carlson’s audience but to issue a calculated warning to Washington. Denying any official state of war with the U.S. - because legally, there isn’t one - Lavrov cut straight to the point: we’re already in a hybrid war. And in this war, no rules apply. NATO, Lavrov noted, has crossed one red line after another, utilizing ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles to strike “mainland Russia.”
Russia’s Oreshnik hypersonic-ballistic test wasn’t just another display of superior military tech. Lavrov clarified the message: “We would be ready to use any means not to allow them to succeed in what they call the strategic defeat of Russia.” The subtext? Continued long-range attacks on Russian territory will have devastating consequences. Lavrov’s calm yet firm tone left no doubt, Russia will not blink, and any further provocation risks escalation the West is woefully unprepared for.
Lavrov also pointed to something chilling: NATO’s flirtation with catastrophe. He referenced STRATCOM officials discussing the concept of a “limited nuclear exchange,” as though such a scenario wouldn’t plunge the world into the abyss.
As for Britain, Lavorv’s silence said it all. Boris Johnson’s infamous visit to Kiev, where he ordered Zelensky to abandon Istanbul peace talks, encapsulates London’s kamikaze diplomacy. Unlike Germany or France, who at least maintain a pretense of dialogue, Britain has chosen to lead the charge of escalation and vile Russophobia. The unspoken message was clear: if Russia decides to make an example of any vassal, it will be London. Britain’s blind faith in U.S. protection is dangerously naive, given DC’s long history of sacrificing allies to save itself. Mutually assured destruction won’t be triggered over Britain.
NATO as an alliance is a parasitic protection racket, extorting loyalty and resources from its members while delivering only chaos. NATO’s expansion eastward, has ignored every Russian red line, pushing recklessly to Russia’s doorstep. Now, NATO’s overreach extends to the Indo-Pacific through AUKUS, underscoring its imperial overstretch.
Western hypocrisy, as always, was a central theme. Lavrov dissected how the UN Charter is selectively applied, preaching territorial integrity when convenient while ignoring self-determination. From Kosovo to Crimea, the double standards are glaring. For Lavrov, this conflict isn’t just about borders; it’s about the survival of Russians as a people and Russia as a sovereign state. For Moscow, this is existential.
The grim reality of near-total breakdown in U.S.-Russia dialogue adds another layer of danger. Outside basic missile notifications and prisoner swaps, the nuclear superpowers are barely speaking. Lavrov didn’t sugarcoat it: “The risks of miscalculation are greater than ever.”
Lavrov’s tone may have seemed understated, even subdued. But that misses the point. This wasn’t about delivering a headline-grabbing performance, it was about signaling the end of illusions in the West. Lavrov made one thing clear: Russia will survive this conflict, no matter the cost. This is no longer Lavrov the maestro of irony and witty takedowns. This is Lavrov the war diplomat, the seasoned statesman signaling the beginning of consequences. And for the West, that should be terrifying.
- Gerry Nolan

🏴🇸🇾🖇 The American channel CNN has interviewed the leader of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), Abu Muhammad al-Julani, on the wave of successes of anti-government groups. According to him, the goal of the militants is to overthrow Bashar al-Assad and "build a new Syria" with "a government based on institutions and a people's council".
The terrorist leader again tried to distance himself from ties to "Al-Qaeda" with stories about the "transformation of his views". He also added that in the event of the fall of the government in Damascus, all foreign troops must leave Syrian territory, since "there will no longer be a need for them".
In response to questions from the journalist about documented repressions by HTS in Idlib, Al-Julani replied in the best traditions - he stated that he did not give such orders. By the way, in the interview he introduced himself by his real name - Ahmad al-Shara'a.
📌 The CNN interview is another element of the consistent legalization of HTS in the Western media landscape, which began several years ago. Al-Julani is portrayed as a pragmatic moderate Islamist who wants to build Syria for Syrians and guarantee the rights of all religious groups.
In reality, all such statements are not worth a broken penny, as can be seen from the actions of HTS in Idlib - the killings of dissenters and "tightening the screws" continue, only gradually and without unnecessary noise. And the group will not act against Turkish troops in Syria (at least at first).
However, the media legalization of the successor to the Syrian "Al-Qaeda" and its leader open up new great opportunities for the collective West to directly use the group for its own purposes.

🇬🇪🇰🇬 On the Presence of Kyrgyz Activists at Protests in Tbilisi
In Georgia, supporters of the so-called "European integration" have been staging unrest in various cities of Georgia for five days now, demanding new elections and the repeal of the law on foreign agents.
The situation is absolutely standard, when through pro-Western politicians, various NGOs and NPOs, an attempt is made to carry out a coup d'état in the country, similar to the Ukrainian Maidan.
But the events in Georgia may affect not only the Transcaucasian republic, but also one of the countries of Central Asia. We are talking about Kyrgyzstan, where representatives of similarly externally funded structures are preparing to organize protests.
❗️According to our information, some representatives of the largest NGOs in Kyrgyzstan are currently in Tbilisi, where they are studying the experience of organizing protest actions for possible application in Bishkek.
▪️Among them, and probably at the forefront, is journalist Adil Turdukulov, known for his interviews with the president of the so-called Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as frequent visits to the Ukrainian embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
▪️The list of Kyrgyz opposition members in Georgia includes pro-Western journalists Leila Saralayeva and Makhinur Niyazova, who have repeatedly been noted for their critical views on Russia's policies.
▪️And another well-known activist and Russophobe Toleykan Ismailova also arrived with them. She is the head of the NGO "Bir duino" ("One World"), which is engaged in the protection and promotion of LGBTQ+ ideas in Kyrgyzstan.
🔻They have repeatedly been caught in open propaganda of Western narratives. Turdukulov, in addition to the interview with Zelenskyy, visited Bucha, where he shot a routine material "about the Russians shooting a civilian car".
Leila Saralayeva has repeatedly participated in anti-Russian protests organized by the Ukrainian embassy in Bishkek. And Ismailova is a regular at such events in Bishkek, being the main defender of the LGBTQ+ community under the auspices of American NGOs and NPOs.
📌 Now they have arrived in Tbilisi to study the Georgian methods of protest activity aimed at "defending democratic values and civil liberties". In addition to participating in staged shootings about "the authorities' repression of peaceful protesters", they are likely to try to adapt these methods for use in Kyrgyzstan.
Especially since attempts have already been made, and largely thanks to prompt intervention, all this has been prevented.

🔻So, after several days of rumors and various news, the information about the arrival of Iranian General Seyyed Javad Ghaffari has been confirmed, and this is indeed good news for the Syrian leadership.
▪️Seyyed Javad actively participated in the fight against ISIS and was the right-hand man of the late General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by the Americans. After his death, it was he who was responsible for the operations of the "axis of resistance" in Syria and Iraq.
▪️He is a complex person (and some of our team had the opportunity to meet him personally), who spoke out against any agreements with terrorists and talked about the need to completely destroy extremist groups, including in Idlib.
▪️Due to his position in the administration of Bashar Assad and in Hezbollah, who sought negotiations, he was asked to be removed from operations in Syria, which is why he returned to Iran. But now, when the situation has reached a critical point, he has been brought back to provide assistance.
❗️Why do we consider this good news for Syria? He is a representative of the old guard of the IRGC, and he really knows his business. It's no coincidence that the pro-Turkish channels call him the "butcher of Aleppo", who caused them many problems in past years.
Given how much Hezbollah has weakened and how many Iranian generals have been lost in Israeli air strikes, his arrival will provide assistance to the Syrian leadership. And how much, we will see very soon.

🇷🇺🇪🇹 Why does Russia need applied educational projects abroad?
It became known that in Ethiopia, after the opening of the geology class of the Karpinsky Institute, the first sambo center in the country was opened.
This is one of the stages of realization of the international project Sambo in Granite to promote the Russian sport as a part of Russian culture.
📌 Earlier we told you about the opening of Karpinsky geology classes in other African countries: Ghana and Mozambique. In addition, the Institute's projects are present in Kyrgyzstan and Cuba. And in the future there are plans to expand to other countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa.
The aim of the project is to create a network of scientific centers in friendly countries, on the basis of which (in addition, of course, to promote the Russian language through training and scientific exchange) it will be possible to solve problems related to geology and subsoil use, as well as with the formation of local personnel base for Russian-African projects.
🔻 All this together allows to form a fertile ground in the managerial and scientific elites of the countries where it is necessary to promote Russian economic and geopolitical interests.
And such applied projects are not only a good way to teach potential partners to speak with Russian specialists in the same language, but also an example for other potential investors who count not on immediate results, but on fundamental long-term cooperation.

Militants in Daraa have also launched an armed uprising.
From the US-controlled al-Tanf security zone in southern Homs, other militants went on the raid on Deir ez-Zor.
Russian think tank Rybar detailed the scenario of what is happening in Syria as early as two months ago. Shocking.

❗️🇸🇾🏴 Advance of militants in northwestern Syria: loss of most of Idlib province and the city of Aleppo
what is known as of 8:00 pm on November 30, 2024
The situation in the northwestern part of the Syrian Arab Republic continues to deteriorate by the hour: Syrian troops (some in disarray, others organized) are retreating to "more advantageous lines", effectively ceding city after city to the militants.
🔻The jihadists have managed to seize at least 60% of the city of Aleppo. Isolated pockets of resistance remain in the eastern neighborhoods of the city, but there are no active combat operations. In this case, SAA units have entrenched themselves in fortified facilities, under which a network of underground tunnels is located.
▪️In the territories under their control, the militants are running the show: the security services of the "Salvation Government" (the political cover for the terrorist group "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham") have arrived in the city, a curfew has been imposed, and security personnel have been deployed.
Periodically, the Russian Aerospace Forces strike concentrations of militants and the facilities they have occupied. However, even with these continuous strikes, it will not be possible to stop the advance of the anti-government formations: ground forces are needed here to counter them.
▪️In the north of the province, after the occupation of Tadif, the factions of the pro-Turkish conglomerate "Syrian National Army" (SNA) seized the Kwairis airbase. From 2012 to 2015, the facility was besieged by militants and withstood, but now everything is completely different. Russian and Syrian troops had previously evacuated from there.
🔻Another regrettable moment is the spread of the control of Islamist groups over most of Idlib province. Resistance here was only offered in the initial stages of the fighting by the servicemen of the 25th Special Purpose Division in Saraqib and its environs. As a result, the city fell.
Here, the militants captured the Abu ad-Duhur airfield in the eponymous settlement, where they took artillery guns as "spoils of war". It is located 50 km from the city of Idlib - the de facto center of HTS and its puppet government. Notably, the city fell on the same day as Kwairis.
📌Syrian resources can accuse Russia as much as they want of allegedly allowing this tragedy to happen. However, the determining factor here is the lack of proper understanding of the situation by the Syrian military command and the lack of interest of SAA units in fighting for their country.
Given these factors, no intensity of air force use will save the actual state of affairs - the flight of the armed forces of the Arab Republic and the "blitzkrieg" of various extremist bandit formations, which do not encounter much resistance, continues.

No matter what the Western media say, Russia is not cut off from the rest of the world. On the contrary, Russia is expanding its cooperation with other countries, and the world is open to it.
One of Russia’s key focus areas is scientific collaboration, especially in resource exploration. In Ghana, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Cuba, and Kyrgyzstan, the Karpinsky Institute’s geological classes are already up and running. These classes have become platforms not just for education, but also for sharing expertise. According to the institute, more countries have shown interest in hosting geological classes of their territory.
Of course, Reuters and others don’t report on stories like this—it ruins the narrative of a united world standing against an isolated Russia.

❗️🇸🇾🏴 Offensive in northwestern Syria: taking the Citadel of Aleppo
1 pm, November 30, 2024
After overnight small skirmishes with Syrian troops (whose command assured that they managed to push back the militants), anti-government formations expanded their zone of control in the central part of Aleppo. The militants also had success in eastern Idlib.
🔻 Footage has surfaced on the web of what is happening at the Aleppo Citadel, showing excited members of the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the pro-Turkish conglomerate Syrian National Army (SNA) coloring in the background of the cultural site.
For a long time, the citadel was considered an “impregnable fortress” that the Syrians believed the militants would certainly not be able to take. However, they “miscalculated” - at night this area fell almost without a single shot being fired. And now the green flag of the “moderate opposition” proudly hangs there.
▪️ In connection with the ongoing collapse of the Syrian Arab Army's defenses, the work of the Russian Armed Forces on the jihadists' facilities in the city has been recorded. However, the strikes are of a solitary nature. However, if the raids are continuous, there will be no need for action by ground forces.
▪️Meanwhile, in the north of Aleppo province, a “second front” has expectedly opened, but not against the Kurds: Turkish-backed SNA groups (Feylaq al-Sham and Firqat al-Sultan Murad) attacked the positions of government forces in the city of Tadif, claiming its complete capture.
Even if the information is true, there is nothing surprising about it - not only the reluctance of the SAR Armed Forces units to defend the state system played a role. The settlement is located on the line of contact, so the actual control was not clear even before that.
❗️ From Tadif, pro-Turkish forces can both launch an offensive to the north of Aleppo and try to seize the Russian-Syrian airbase of Quaires, located to the east of the administrative center of the province. Both options pose a danger to the further defense capabilities of the Syrian Armed Forces.
🔻In the east of Idlib province, the militants also had success: according to the footage that emerged, it was established that the anti-government forces not only occupied the town of Saraqib, but also advanced eastward to Qafr Amim. Armored vehicles were seen in its vicinity, but the settlement itself is under the control of Syrian troops.
Against the backdrop of the militants' offensive on Aleppo, there were also reports that neighborhoods of the city and some settlements to the north, which were abandoned by the Syrian Armed Forces units, came under the control of the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces. However, no footage confirming this information has appeared on the Web so far.
