DTE filed for a $574.1 million electric rate increase on April 23, 2025, its second-largest request, to take effect February 24, 2026. This would raise residential bills by $13.50/month (11.1%).

This is about worrying about the share holders while bleeding out the residents of Michigan. There is speculation that the executives who are reported to earn $10 million dollars will get a $2million dollar raise.
Michigan pays the highest amount for energy costs in the Midwest.
Theft … all the while the DNR is set to destroy our dams which have the potential to produce truly clean and relatively free energy.

The DNR quoted 2.5 million dollars to repair this dam after damaging the dam by doing a 4ft draw down in one day … what is allowed is 6” per day.
Reports were that they then logs into the outflow pipe and people are observing the dam shaking due to the illegal water draw down.
Evidence points to that they intentionally damaged the Trout Lake Dam.
