I've never understood workaholic culture. Why on earth would you bust your ass more than you have to for a company that's just going to discard you like trash the second it suits their bottom line to do so anyways no matter how hard you work?

Maybe if this was an era where we had an actual functional social contract still instead of the one sided pile of shit we have today, and companies actually still valued their workers and there was still an environment of mutual respect between employee and employer, but those days are long gone. At this point I'm of the view that we should be prioritizing curing cancer instead of just preventing it like so many people say.

Unfortunately the fact of the matter is that even if you avoid smoking, alcohol, sugary drinks, and everything else that causes cancer, and live a super healthy lifestyle, some people in that boat still get it. Why? It's simple, the environment we live in is so thoroughly toxic that it's just inescapable. Unless you live in a cabin like Ted Kaczynski in the wilderness or something, and even then it's not guaranteed since a lot of building materials are carcinogenic even ones we don't recognize as such.

(I know Ted died from cancer but that was probably after living in the toxic prison environment for decades more than anything he did before then)

What's the deal with the people who live here in this region of India? They seem to not be your typical Jeets, they seem to be more Asian-looking (closer to Burmese than actual Jeets possibly?), first world country level low street shitting levels, and some of these regions seem to be even majority Christian. Very underdeveloped though from what I've heard.

I'm not sure I've ever met someone who came from here.

I was watching a TikTok video some time ago, and the girl was wearing some necklace, and someone in the comments asked what kind of necklace it was, and someone replied with what kind it was and that it was like 5,000 dollars.

My mind was blown, I couldn't believe the necklace was that much, I would have guessed it was like 15 dollars. I can't imagine spending 5 grand on a necklace. Am I the only man who's like this, or does how expensive a woman's necklace is make zero difference to men at all?

In fact if anything I'd have a more NEGATIVE view of her, seeing how 5 grand could be spent on something much more productive than a piece of jewelry.
