🎉 Friends, today in Anadyr we ceremoniously opened the International Friendship Club. The event took place at the coworking center of the District House of Folk Art. The most active young people took part in it.
🌍 Back in March, we were at the World Youth Festival in Sochi. A delegation from Chukotka consisting of 18 people took an active part there. And then, on the instructions of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, in order to preserve the post-festival legacy and further develop international relations between Russian and foreign representatives, the International Friendship Clubs project was developed. They will open in all regions of the country.
🇹🇭 As part of the Festival, each foreign delegation was assigned supervising regions of the Russian Federation. Thailand became the sponsored country of Chukotka. And today a teleconference with the participants of the Thai delegation at the WFM took place - Ms. Kamolnutt Srisa-ard (Mrs. Kamolnutt Srisa-ard), Nalan Daechasatien (Nalan Daechasatien) and Siwakorn Vilaivong (Sivakorn Vilaivong).
👩🎓 So far, this is only an introduction to the culture, language and traditions. The club members will develop international youth cooperation in a variety of areas: sports, culture and creativity, tourism. One of the key tasks will be the promotion of the Russian language abroad.
👨💼 At the opening of the club, its leader, Rasul Magomedmirzoev, was appointed. He came to Anadyr from Grozny and is the head of the youth initiatives implementation department of the Youth Policy Department of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Rasul is fluent in several languages and recently represented Chukotka at the Eurasia Global International Forum.
👧 The first member of the club was also introduced - Anya Pecherskaya, an 11th-grader at the Chukotka Regional Specialized Lyceum. She gave a presentation on the history and culture of Chukotka, and also spoke about the indigenous peoples of the region.
😊 Despite the language barrier that we felt at the festival, we had no problems with communication. Open smiles and sincere interest are the most important things. We organized interethnic evenings, played national games and participated in creative master classes.
👐 We want to transfer this dialogue of cultures to the work of our club. This will be a platform where everyone can express their position and be heard, where they can unite to solve social problems, and mutual understanding will come regardless of nationality, political views and cultural characteristics.
🎨 The club will host master classes, research, cultural, educational, international language webinars, and much attention will be paid to volunteer activities and participation in international forums.
👥 I really hope that students and working youth will join our project. I know that the guys really want to communicate, talk about life in Russia and find out how our friends from other countries live. We want to develop communication, interaction, friendship, joint projects, let the connection be maintained despite the distance. We will find ways to invite them to visit, intensify international activities, exchange.
📅 Presumably, meetings in the club will be held 1-2 times a month. Here we will gather and share experiences, communicate on various topics. Anyone aged 14 to 35 can become a member of the club. I am sure that this platform will become a shining example of how young people from different countries can unite for the common good and strengthen peace based on mutual understanding and trust.
