"While the world hopes for a ceasefire, Russia shows again it doesn’t seek peace —only death and destruction. Its latest missile attack on Kyiv killed, wounded civilians. Moldova condemns this terror.
Ukraine needs more support, more air defence. Only strength can stop this war,"
said Maia Sandu, President of the Republic of Moldova.

"While russia is busy choosing what it wants for ceasefire, it keeps on attacking Ukraine's cities.
Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, Sumy, and now Kyiv are burning. One does not stop such hate crimes by sweet talks – only by force.
Lithuania will support President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukraine until final victory!"
said Gitanas Nausėda, President of Lithuania.

While claiming to seek peace, russia launched a deadly airstrike on Kyiv.
This isn't a pursuit of peace, it’s a mockery of it.
The real obstacle is not Ukraine but russia, whose war aims have not changed,
said Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

The body of Ukrainian journalist Victoriia Roshchyna, tortured in russian captivity, was returned to Ukraine in late February, but it could only be officially confirmed after several DNA tests were completed.
According to the Head of the Committee on Freedom of Speech Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, it was necessary to keep silence for a long time because of the high risk of manipulation by the russian side, which repeatedly replaced the bodies of the dead.
Victoriia's family insisted on several independent DNA examinations, some of which took place outside of Ukraine, to finally confirm her identity. Only after this complex and painful procedure did the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine officially confirmed that Victoria's body was repatriated.
📌 27 years old journalist was tortured and killed by russians who had illegally held her captive for a long time.

The Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy recommends to adopt the European Integration draft law on media as a whole (Reg. No. 12111).
In particular, the following changes are proposed:

▪️ The creation of conditions for the stable operation of print media — through the procurement of printing services and paper.
▪️ Restrictions on the dissemination in the media (excluding films) of content that may harm the development of children.
The Committee also supported the draft law on folk arts and crafts (Reg. No. 11526).
It provides for:
▪️ the establishment of a State Register of Craftsmen.
▪️ a new procedure for obtaining the status of a craftsman.
▪️ a clear process for acquiring this status 🎨.

Now, after Easter, the whole world can clearly see the real issue – the real reason why the hostilities continue. Russia is the source of this war. It is from Moscow that a real order must come for the Russian army to cease fire. And if there is no such firm Russian order for ceasefire – then there is no ceasefire.
Indeed, there were no air raid alerts on Easter, and some sectors of the frontline remained quiet. This proves it is possible – it’s possible when Russia chooses to reduce the killing. Nevertheless, Ukraine stands by its offer — at the very least, not to strike civilian infrastructure. And we expect a clear answer from Moscow. We are ready for any conversation on how to ensure this.
There is an obvious, simplest, and most reliable way: stop missile and long-range drone attacks. That alone would automatically ensure the safety of all civilian infrastructure. A ceasefire – real and lasting – must be the first step toward a secure and enduring peace.
Ukrainian representatives – both at the meetings held in Paris and at the meetings scheduled this week in London – will have a primary task regarding an unconditional ceasefire. That must be the starting point. Peace begins in silence.

Today, I presented state awards to employees of our defense industry. Their professional day was on April 13, when Russia struck Sumy with ballistic missiles. We have the means to respond to such strikes, and we will not simply let the scum who kill our people leave in peace on this earth. We have every right to do this, it is absolutely just – to respond to the killers as they deserve.
Russia must accept the idea of the inevitability of Ukraine's strength, and a truly reliable peace can only be achieved when reality forces Russia to come to terms with our capabilities. Our drones, Ukrainian missiles, our artillery, Ukrainian shells, our equipment – everything produced by Ukraine – will defend Ukraine, the lives of our people, our state.
I thank all more than 300,000 Ukrainians who work at our defense enterprises – here, in our state – for the sake of Ukraine’s strength. I am proud of our people!
Glory to Ukraine!

34 days ago, Ukraine responded positively to the U.S. proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire. And for 34 days now, Russia has been openly refusing to cease fire. Putin remains focused on continuing the war. Russian state propagandists are preparing their audience for the idea that diplomacy will not bring any results.
There is only one reason for this – in Moscow, they are not afraid. If there is no strong enough pressure on Russia, they will keep doing what they are used to – they will keep waging war.
We all want this to end. Peace is needed – and it must be lasting. That is why Ukraine always works constructively with its partners, in all formats that can bring security and restore peace.
We are not just ready for peace quickly – Ukraine has never wanted this war, not for a single second. And when the war ends, the world will clearly know: it happened because Russia, the aggressor, was forced into peace. The same aggressor that came to Ukrainian land in 2014 – 11 years ago. And it’s important for everyone that this doesn’t take more years.

Sumy. As of now, it is known that 34 people have been killed. My condolences to all their families and loved ones.
Those were two Russian ballistic missiles. The first hit a building – one of the university buildings. The second exploded right over the street. 117 people were wounded, including children – among them, a baby girl born in 2025. Doctors and all medical workers are doing everything they can to help and save as many lives as possible. I am grateful to all the emergency services who were on the scene within minutes and began rescue operations.
The strike hit right in the heart of the city. On Palm Sunday. Only completely deranged scum can do something like this.

"Ballistic missiles hit the centre of a peaceful Ukrainian city. Dozens of people were killed and wounded. Among the victims are those who were just on the street, in cars, in public transport. This is not just a war crime. This is terrorism. It is deliberate and cynical,"
Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, said.
He urged the international community to provide Ukraine with defence measures, strengthen sanctions against the aggressor and accelerate the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression.
"The criminal has a name. There is evidence. Unfortunately, we will not bring back the dead Ukrainians. But it is our duty to achieve accountability and justice for their sake,"
First Vice Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko said.

A meeting of the Military Cabinet was held: with thorough reports from Syrskyi, Hnatov, and Drapatyi. All directions, all parts of the frontline were covered. Our positions, necessary supplies, and staffing. The maximum effort for stabilizing the situation, for our active actions and our active diplomacy.
Today I have also discussed with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine our preparations for the upcoming Ramstein meeting, which is scheduled for Friday. Our top priority is air defense – above all, missile defense against ballistic threats. Ukraine needs at the very least ten systems that are sufficiently effective specifically against Russian ballistic missiles, and this is where Patriots are second to none. We have repeatedly raised this issue with the American side and with everyone in Europe who is in a position to help. We are counting on decisions.
Just today, there were several air raid alerts across the country due to ballistic missile threats. In some parts of our country, people are virtually living under the constant threat of such attacks. And right now, the world lacks not the systems themselves – but only the political decisions needed to protect lives. The systems do exist. There are even enough Patriots in the world to guarantee protection from Russian terror once and for all. But this requires a political decision – a decision by our partners.

1️⃣ russia named the main aggressor in hybrid interference
It targets elections, information space, and trust in institutions.
2️⃣ Social media as a weapon
The Kremlin uses bloggers and influencers to spread anti-EU and anti-Ukraine narratives.
3️⃣ Fake “anti-war movements” aren’t about peace
russia exploits them to divide European societies.
4️⃣ Elections must be free and fair
Interference undermines democracy.
5️⃣ AI must support democracy
PACE backs using AI to protect elections, verify facts, and ensure accountability.
6️⃣ Europe must act together
The resolution calls for a joint strategy.
