So, our dear and beloved and @durov finally broke his silence! After days of being grilled by French police, he confirmed that he might be held responsible for others' use of Telegram. Why? Apparently, the French couldn't find the official email address of Telegram's EU rep.
Classic, right?
But Durov isn't backing down. He points out that blaming CEOs for what happens on their platforms is just plain old-fashioned. If they can’t agree on privacy vs. security, Telegram's ready to leave any market.
As always, Durov is fighting the good fight, for rights over profit. So, hats off to Pavel and everyone who fight for the freedom!
