The Russian Cathedral finished construction in 2020, and is a true symbol of what modern builders can achieve when given the funds to build something extraordinary.
The cathedral holds controversy, for several reasons. However we are here to see the vast spectacle this building has become, and it’s quite shocking.
The floors, doors and other metal components are made from melted steel of german tanks from the second world war. The Cathedral itself is built in memory of Soviet soldiers lost in the second world war, in accordance with the 75th anniversary of the allied victory.
To see a modern cathedral is something unlike anything else, truly remarkable.
