In the last three hours two M 5 earthquakes occurred at the Dodecanese Islands. Within 12 minutes of the last one, two moderate but widely felt earthquakes occurred in Greece (M 4.6) and Morocco (M 4.9).

An earthquake swarm is ongoing at the Dodecanese Islands, Greece. More than 70 tremors with magnitude 3 and larger occurred in the last few days. Strongest shake so far measured M 4.8 this morning. In 1956 a M 7.5 earthquake occurred at the island Thira (Santorini).

Keep in mind that it's been two years since the last M 7.8+ and three and a half years since the last M 8.0+ earthquake, while on average they occur about twice and once a year respectively.
