Dr. Michel Peter, French physician & member of the Académie de Médecine (and Pasteur’s cousin by marriage), was a fierce critic. He accused Pasteur of creating diseases like anthrax & rabies through the very vaccines meant to prevent them.

Why do you need to be told whether you have allergies or a cold? Because the symptoms are the same—only the label changes. Whether it's "allergic" or "viral" rhinitis, the experience is identical. The difference lies in the story, not the symptoms.

Highly regarded British physician and medical author Dr. Charles Creighton, considered the most learned British medical scholar of the 19th century, denounced the germ "theory" of disease and vaccination. For this, he was relegated to the fringes of the medical community and ignored.
