Arkansas: Two Rogers police officers were injured on Tuesday morning after one accidentally fired a gun, according to the department.
RPD said in a news release that an officer who was preparing to clean a firearm accidentally fired it. The officer who fired the shot was hit in the leg, and the same round hit another officer in the foot.
The department said neither officer has life-threatening injuries and both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
