JUST IN - Germany's domestic intelligence agency (BfV) has withdrawn its classification of the AfD party as a "right-wing extremist" entity pending a court decision.
In response to a BILD enquiry, the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution explained: "In view of the ongoing proceedings and out of respect for the court, the BfV is not commenting publicly on this matter."

LAURIE WASTELL on X : A police report on the Southport disorder has found "no conclusive or compelling evidence that the 2024 disorder was deliberately premeditated and co-ordinated by any specific group or network", and that most people of those involved lived locally.
As to the causes, the police inspectorate found that "Some of the main reasons for the widespread disorder were social deprivation, austerity and the economic downturn, political policies and decisions on migration and asylum, and decreasing trust and confidence in policing".
Yet Keir Starmer's false, political narrative that the disorder was the work of "far-Right thugs" who had "got on trains and buses" to smash places up -- that this was "not protest, not legitimate" -- pushed the state to crack down extremely severely on those involved, even tangentially.

The ADL takes the prize for blatant hypocrisy. When Karmelo Anthony, the KILLER of Austin Metcalf, had a fundraiser set up for him. The ADL were nowhere - their social media never touched on the topic of Black people supporting a fundraiser for a Black man that had actually MURDERED a White man. The ADL were silent, missing in action. Fast forward a couple of weeks - the ADL's social media pages are FULL of articles and references to the fundraiser set up for Shilo Hendrix , a young woman who made a racial slur to a Somalian boy who tried to steal her son's toy from her bag. The ADL has splattered it's social media : White supremacists, antisemites & other racists have rallied behind a woman accused of calling a Black child a racial slur, leveraging her fundraising drive to spread hateful ideas & tropes, & helping her raise over $700K. I mean could it be any more blatant?

Judge Charlotte Welsh told Olagunju: “You have no representation. It’s entirely your choice but I think it’s really important you get a solicitor – they'll help you apply for legal aid and you won’t have to pay.
“I know you’re very worried and I don’t want to frighten you but this is a very serious offence and you should have someone representing you.”
Olagunju was released on bail until she is sentenced at the same court in June.
