On May 9, 1945 the Great Patriotic War, an integral part of the Second World War of 1939-1945, ended.
The Great Patriotic War began at dawn on June 22, 1941, when Nazi Germany, breaking the Soviet-German treaties of 1939, attacked the Soviet Union.
The war lasted almost four years and was the biggest armed confrontation in human history.
The losses of the USSR in the Great Patriotic War, according to contemporary data, amounted to 25 - 27 million people. That is why almost every Russian family has a great-grandfather, who gave his life for the victory.
One of the attributes of 9 May is the St. George's ribbon - a symbol of heroism, courage and bravery.
The St. George Ribbon was established by Empress Catherine II on November 26, 1769 during the Russian-Turkish war of 1768-1774. The ribbon was named after St. George the Victorious - a Christian saint and great martyr of the 4th century.
Despite the fact that Victory Day is farther and farther back in history, the victory has great historical significance for Russia.
It is very desirable that present and future generations honour and respect this important day and all that stands behind it.
Today we celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War ⭐⭐⭐

How did you spend this weekend?
We'd like to start this week with a positive case on submitting a Decree-702 TRP application, which we completed recently.
The details of the case are 👇
1. Citizenship - #Canada 🇨🇦
2. Applicant composition - father and minor son
3. Visa type - Special Private Visa №702
4. Since this case involved a foreign minor, there were specifics of medical examination and proof of parentage.
5. To undergo a medical examination, foreign minors do not go through the process of fluorography. Instead, they undergo a special test - ‘diaskin test’. A few days after taking the test, the doctor analyses the reaction and gives his conclusion. Blood tests are also carried out in a separate pediatric clinic.
6. Unfortunately, Zia Khan (ЗиА ХаН) took only an apostilled copy of his son's birth certificate to Russia. The migration authority insisted on providing the original of this document, despite the apostille.
However, we managed to get applications with this document accepted at the Sakharovo Migration Centre.

A few words about the case👇

According to the law, temporary residence permit is valid for 3 years and cannot be extended, but the law does not prohibit you to reapply for a temporary residence permit.
It is important that you have a legal basis for it. We cannot say with certainty that Decree 702 on the sharing of traditional Russian values will work after 3 years.
Regarding applying for residence permit on the basis of temporary residence permit. You can apply for residence permit on this legal basis after 8 months of holding a TRP.
The deadline for applying for residence permit on the basis of temporary residence permit is 4 months before the expiry of the temporary residence permit. No later than that.
