Multiple Birth Triplets graduate with honors as surgeons from the University of Los Andes
The brothers Halmar Eduardo, José Gregorio and Halmar José Morales Maldonado made history on February 21 by becoming the first triplets to graduate together as surgeons with honors from the University of Los Andes (ULA).
The Morales Maldonado brothers, who are originally from Táchira state, received their degrees as surgeons after completing their undergraduate studies at the Dr. Pedro Rincón Gutiérrez extension of the ULA, located in San Cristóbal, Táchira state.
“Being able to graduate from this school with your brothers is something that fills me with happiness because, beyond a competition, it was a healthy competition with people who encouraged you to strive for more,” said one of them.

Colombia closes dozens of gas stations due to possible drug trafficking misuse
Because gasoline is a widely used element in the production of illegal drugs such as cocaine, Colombian federal authorities decided to take action to prevent organized crime from taking advantage of the situation .
