My life used to be a mess. I was smoking weed every day, drinking, just living like the typical 18-year-old UK lad. I wasn’t thinking about the future, just going with the flow. Then one day, I woke up. I started to realise how powerful the mind is.
I looked at what I was feeding my consciousness. The music I was listening to was all about drugs, sex, and meaningless pleasure. And that’s exactly what my life reflected. So I made a change. I cut out the music and started listening to affirmations every single morning, all day long. Two simple phrases. I am free. I am abundant.
At first, it felt like nothing was happening. But the more I repeated them, the more they sank into my subconscious. I started to believe I was free of everything holding me back. I started to see abundance in every part of my life. Spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially.
People told me I was just trying to speak something into existence. But it was never about that. The truth is, your consciousness is always mirroring itself in your outside world. Change your mind, and your reality starts to shift with it. That’s exactly what happened to me.

Ask yourself this—who is the one suffering?
When negative thoughts consume you, who feels the pain?
When life changes, when loss shakes you, who is the one struggling?
It’s not your body.
It’s not just your mind.
The mind creates the suffering, but it is the soul that feels it.
The soul cannot be explained.
It transcends language, time, and thought.
It can only be found in silence, beyond the noise of the mind.
Look within.
Find the light that has always been there.
The soul is not taught.
It is experienced.

I remind myself of this often. Not to be careless, but to care less about the illusions that keep us trapped in suffering. It’s not always easy—we all get caught up in life—but when emotions start pulling you too deep, take a step back and remember: none of this is permanent.
