~53% Andronovo culture (Indo-Iranian/Aryan) ancestry
~47% BMAC (Oxus Civilization) ancestry
The Yaz Culture (c. 1500–500 BCE) was an ancient civilization in Central Asia (Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, northern Afghanistan). It developed after the collapse of the Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex (BMAC). The Yaz people lived in fortified settlements, farmed, and herded animals. They used distinctive handmade ceramics but had no horse riding or metal weapons early on. The culture is strongly linked to early Indo-Iranians, the ancestors of Persians, Medes, and Sogdians.

•"As we can see, the eastern regions exhibit higher levels of Iranic admixture. This suggests that Iranic groups migrated from the east and were not originally native, which challenges the claims of Pan-Iranian ideology. The farther west you go, the less Iranic admixture is observed. This indicates that pre-Iranic populations in the Zagros and Alborz regions were more numerous than the nomadic Iranic groups that later entered those areas."
