🎥 “Tomorrow, you’ll be held accountable for that silence, for the blood of the Palestinians left on the ground.” Palestinian woman from Gaza says an Israeli strike on a restaurant targeted workers who were “chasing a piece of bread, a bag of flour.”

An Israeli air strike targeted the Thai Restaurant on al-Wehda Street in Gaza City, killing at least 17 people, according to Al-Jazeera.

Two missiles were reportedly fired simultaneously at locations 100 metres apart — one striking inside the restaurant, the other at a nearby intersection.

The Thai Restaurant had been operating as a community kitchen, providing basic meals to those in need.
📸 The death toll from two separate Israeli attacks on schools in the al-Bureij refugee camp and Gaza City last night and early on Wednesday has risen to 49, according to Wafa news agency.

📰 A wide range of UK-made military goods and arms, including F-35 fighter jet parts, have continued to be sent to Israel even after the British government suspended 30 arms export licences in September, Israeli import data revealed in a report on Wednesday suggests.

The report released by three campaign groups says parts for the jet, which has been critical for Israel's war on Gaza, appear to have arrived in Israel as recently as March, five months after the UK said it had suspended its direct exports over concerns they might be used in serious violations of international humanitarian law.

Speaking in front of the House of Commons on Tuesday, Conservative MP Mark Pritchard condemned Israel for its actions in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

“I have supported Israel, pretty much at all costs,” said Pritchard. “But today, I want to say that I got it wrong,” he added.

The Tory MP concluded his remarks by stating: “The life of a Palestinian child is as precious as the life of a Jewish child.”
"Despite assurances from Syria's interim self-declared president and former al-Qaeda commander, Ahmed al-Sharaa, that religious minorities would be protected, the regime has already begun imposing 'Sunni Islamist' strictures on many aspects of society, including school curricula and the gender segregation of public transportation.

Meanwhile, sectarian violence by state-linked groups and non-state militias persists.

It is in the context of this sectarian violence that Israel saw an opportunity to further a programme that the Zionist movement had pursued since the 1920s: to create new, or exploit existing, schisms among religious groups in Palestine and the surrounding Arab countries, in a classic divide-and-conquer strategy"

📹 In a wave of strikes across Yemen’s capital, Israel bombed Sanaa international airport on Tuesday.

Israel said its strike was in retaliation for a Houthi missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion airport on Sunday, which marked the first known instance of a Houthi missile penetrating Israel’s air defences.

In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to strike back against the group in a “phased” retaliation consisting of “not one bang but many bangs”, striking the country’s Hodeidah port on Monday.

As a result, 70 percent of the port’s docks and warehouses were damaged, which typically facilitate 80 percent of Yemen’s food imports.

🎥 At a parliamentary session on Tuesday, Labour MP Uma Kumaran asked why the UK had not taken action against Israel after it announced plans to indefinitely occupy all of the Gaza Strip in recent days.

Arguing that "the time has come for significant action", Kumaran asked why the UK had not done so when any other country would have been met with a response long ago.

Kumaran was speaking as Israel's blockade of aid into Gaza reaches its third month, with 66,000 children suffering from severe malnutrition. Rather than agreeing to let aid in, Israel has instead called up 70,000 reservists as it plans for an invasion that would permanently conquer the strip and force its population into civilian compounds in Rafah. Aid groups have criticised the plan as a violation of humanitarian principles and refused to cooperate
📰 A climate scientist working as an adviser on Saudi Arabia's Neom project has warned that the new city could change local environments and weather systems, including the path of wind and sand storms.

The $500bn megacity - which organisers claim will be 33 times the size of New York City - is planned to include a 170km straight-line city, an eight-sided city that floats on water, and a ski resort with a folded vertical village, amongst other grandiose projects.

More than 70 previous participants of Eurovision have called on the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to ban Israel’s Kan public broadcaster from the song contest.

The participants, who include contestants, songwriters and lyricists, accused Israel’s Kan broadcaster of being complicit in Israeli genocide against Palestinians.

📰 On Tuesday, Sudan’s security and defence council announced it was cutting off diplomatic ties with the UAE over its support for the RSF, a day after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) dismissed a Sudanese case accusing Abu Dhabi of complicity in genocide.

Port Sudan is currently Sudan’s de facto capital and home of its army-backed government, which blames the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and its “regional sponsor”, the United Arab Emirates, for drone strikes that began early on Sunday morning.

🎥 The US is “merging” its Office of Palestinian Affairs with its embassy to Israel, the State Department said on Tuesday, in a step that signals a much-anticipated downgrade in US relations with the Palestinians.

State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had decided to end the Office of Palestinian Affairs, known as OPA, in its independent status and make it an office within the embassy.

The decision is "not a reflection on any outreach, or commitment to outreach, to the people of the West Bank or to Gaza", Bruce said.

🎥 “I say 21, because as of today, it’s 21, three have died."

US President Donald Trump told reporters on Tuesday that three Israeli captives held in Gaza had died, adding that only 21 are believed to be still alive.
After doctors narrowly saved Maram Manaa’s daughter from a life-threatening asthma attack, she pleaded for proper treatment to stop the attacks from returning.

The Palestinian mother of three waited anxiously at her daughter’s bedside in a field hospital in central Gaza.

When the doctor finally returned, he was holding a plastic water bottle.

It had been fashioned into a makeshift spacer, connected to an inhaler far too strong for a child that age.

“This is all we’ve got,” he told her.

The US will stop bombing Yemen “effective immediately”, US President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday at the White House, underscoring his shock and awe preference for unveiling policy decisions.

Trump said the Houthis in Yemen had told the US on Monday night that “they don’t want to fight anymore, they just don’t want to fight”.

“We will honour that. We will stop the bombings,” Trump said.

Oman confirmed Trump’s statement that the Houthis agreed to stop attacking vessels in the Red Sea.

📹"And tell the Zionists they’re not welcome here."

A confrontation caught on camera shows the owner of a restaurant in Naples, Italy, ejecting a group of Israeli diners.

The footage, recorded by one of the Israeli women involved, captures her repeatedly accusing the restaurant staff of being terror supporters and antisemitic.

Pro-Israeli social media accounts later circulated the name of the establishment, La Taverna di Santa Chiara, urging users to leave negative reviews online.

It remains unclear what events led up to the confrontation prior to the start of the video
📰 Saudi Arabia has been lobbying the US to stop all US attacks on Yemen ahead of President Donald Trump's visit to the kingdom, warning that it would create an “embarrassing situation” for Riyadh and the US, Middle East Eye can reveal.

Saudi Arabia has resisted the US bombing campaign in Yemen since the Biden administration began strikes in 2024, but their insistence that attacks stop picked up last week as they became more concerned about the scope of the strikes, two US officials told MEE on the condition of anonymity.

📰 India said on Wednesday that it carried out "precision strikes” on “terrorist camps” across nine sites in Pakistan, as its neighbour promised to retaliate. Pakistan said the strikes hit civilian areas.

The two nuclear-armed states have been balanced on a razor’s edge since last month when India blamed Pakistan for a deadly attack in India-administered Kashmir.

Pakistan said at least three Pakistanis were killed and 12 injured by the Indian missile strikes after midnight local time on Wednesday, which hit Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh, and Muzaffarabad.

🎥 Four-year-old Yehya Zakaria Abu Halima, a child with special needs, has died as a result of malnutrition.
“My son died from starvation, malnutrition, and lack of medical treatment,” said Yahya’s mother.

He had relied on a specialised type of milk and food, but with the ongoing war, siege, and closure of border crossings, it became impossible to access his basic nutritional requirements. He remained without adequate nourishment until his death.

🎥 Israel kills a child every 40 minutes, amounting to over 16,278 children killed in Gaza since the start of Israel’s war on 7 October 2023, the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza has said.

During a press conference held in Gaza, the ministry said of the total number of children killed, 908 are children under one-year-old and 311 children were born and killed during the war.

The Palestinian health ministry urged the world to help as Israel continues to target and kill children and block aid from entering the besieged strip, leading to the starvation and severe malnutrition of thousands of children.

Israel continues to prevent polio vaccines from reaching children in Gaza, the ministry added, threatening to collapse all efforts to combat the disease.

🎥 More than 1,000 people protested in the Moroccan port city of Tangier against the expected arrival of a ship reportedly carrying fighter jet parts to Israel.

The protest was organised by the Moroccan National Action Group for Palestine, which said it aimed to “express, repeat, and renew its condemnation of normalisation and Zionist penetration”.

Morocco formalised ties with Israel under the US-brokered Abraham Accords in 2020, a move that continues to face widespread public opposition.
