Guys, let us have a conversation.
First of all it has been two days since I last read private messages, I apologize for that, I have had something going on that required alot of paperwork.
I want to talk about two things specifically here, they are completely unrelated, but I have a feeling that you should read about it and stimulate yourself by asking questions in this topic.
Where should you draw your inner strength from, and why should you know the limit of your soul?
Strength is not just a matter of physical capability, but also can refer to many things at the same time, the strength of the mind, character, and endurance of the self, the prime example of humanity should excel in all four, it is okay if you do not have flying colors in all of the four categories, we are only men, not superhumans, but it is the supreme standard that one should aspire to, usually only Prophets, Kings, and those leaders who led their people, from the town level to the highest administrations, tend to excel in all four, this is simply how history worked.
And such strength also has a limit, it's just it doesn't always get cracked that fast.
I recall this one detainee we had, an ISIS fighter who, during Ramadan, was so broken by the end of what we did to him that he attempted suicide, the man went from being a fighter and a low level leader, who was taller and firmer than I, into attempting to kill himself, something which in Islamic doctrine guarantees access to hell, which is weird because they are supposed to go to be martyrs and get to heaven or something, but there was nothing that our scalpel could not penetrate, that includes his thick skin and soul, which shows that even those who are so ideologically and religiously firm in their paths can also be broken, just a matter of when.
They really said the human soul is intangible and untouchable, the authors and scribes and poets, but I don't think so anymore.
Nobody is unique or immune to that, by the way, that includes you too, my dear reader, reflect on yourself, those who know their limits will know the appropriate ways on how to improve and push these limits and counter them.
Secondly, where should you draw your inner strength from?
From what you yourself believe in, from your friends and your family, to those who share bread and salt with you and those who share interests and are amicable, they are all equally valid sources, but some works better for others simply due to how different we as people are, and there's nothing wrong with that too.
