🇬🇧 The Chronicle of Akakor: A mythical forbidden history of South America (part 1 of 2)
In March 1972, in Manaus (Brazil), a journalist and amateur researcher of indigenous cultures of German origin named Karl Brugger, had a strange encounter in a tavern with a native who claimed to be the chieftain of his tribe, called Tatunca Nara and being by birthright the prince of the city of Akakor.
Brugger interrogated Tatunca Nara for several hours and even recorded all their conversations. Later, he went into the jungle with him, following the traces of a mysterious secret city - the city of Akakor.
The German told his story in a book entitled "The Chronicle of Akakor. Myth and Legend of an ancient people of Amazonia".
Tatunca Nara, who, to the surprise of his interlocutor, spoke rudimentary German, told Brugger the amazing story of the people of Ugha Mongulala; "a people chosen by the gods," 15,000 years ago.

The Colossus, a 105 ft high bronze statue depicting Helios, God of the Sun, was located in the port of Rhodes and symbolized the protection and freedom of the island.
We are told that the huge statue was destroyed by an earthquake, but what happened to the remains?
Could it be that the Statue of Liberty was actually built from the remains of the Colossus of Rhodes? Perhaps this is not such an ill-advised assumption, since they are quite similar.
For example, in both statues, you can see that the big toe of the foot was smaller than the one next to it.
The raised hand of the Colossus, which carries a flame, is also very reminiscent of that of the Statue of Liberty.
The other hand is the only apparent difference. In fact, it is striking that there are only construction photos of the Statue of Liberty from this hand, which raises the assumption that exactly this part is the only one that has been changed.
