Hadith of the day!
Sahih al-Bukhari 73 (Book 3, Hadith 15)
Narrated
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases. (The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Qur'an) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others." (Fath-al-Bari page 177 Vol. 1)
Context:
- The Arabs before Islam prided themselves on lineage and wealth. This Hadith redefines true success.
- The Prophet ﷺ redirects the Ummah’s aspirations to meaningful pursuits, not materialism or fame.
Why These Two Examples?
1. Wealth + Spending in Truth:
- Shows that money is a tool, not a goal.
- Example: Abu Bakr RadiyAllahu anhu spending his wealth to free slaves and support Islam.
2. Knowledge + Teaching It:
- The legacy of the Prophet ﷺ is ‘ilm (knowledge), not wealth.
- Example: Scholars like Imam Bukhari RadiyAllahu anhu, who preserved Hadith for generations.
Misconceptions Clarified:
- Myth: "Islam discourages wealth."
-Truth: Islam discourages "love" of wealth, not wealth itself. The best Muslim is one who benefits others.
- Myth: "Only scholars can teach."
- Truth: Even basic knowledge (e.g. teaching a verse) is rewarded. "Convey from me, even if it is one verse." (Bukhari).
This Hadith teaches us to compete in goodness, not in worldly status. The best life is one spent in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala's service, whether through wealth or knowledge.
My brothers and sisters, if you were to be envied today, would it be for your charity or for your knowledge? If neither, what are you doing to change that? May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala make us and our loved amongst those who spend their lives in the service of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Ameen

Hadith of the day!
Sahih al-Bukhari 18(Book 2, Hadith 11)
Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit RadiyAllahu anhu:
who took part in the battle of Badr and was a Naqib (a person heading a group of six persons), on the night of Al-'Aqaba pledge: Allah's Apostle said while a group of his companions were around him, "Swear allegiance to me for:
1. Not to join anything in worship along with Allah.
2. Not to steal.
3. Not to commit illegal sexual intercourse.
4. Not to kill your children.
5. Not to accuse an innocent person (to spread such an accusation among people).
6. Not to be disobedient (when ordered) to do good deed."
The Prophet (ﷺ) added: "Whoever among you fulfills his pledge will be rewarded by Allah. And whoever indulges in any one of them (except the ascription of partners to Allah) and gets the punishment in this world, that punishment will be an expiation for that sin. And if one indulges in any of them, and Allah conceals his sin, it is up to Him to forgive or punish him (in the Hereafter)." 'Ubada bin As-Samit added: "So we swore allegiance for these." (points to Allah's Apostle)
Key Lessons:
-Commitment to Islamic Principles
The pledge highlights core moral and spiritual obligations for every Muslim.
-Divine Justice & Mercy
-If punished in this world, it serves as expiation for the sin.
-If Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala conceals the sin, He may forgive or punish in the Hereafter based on His wisdom.
-Accountability & Repentance
Sins must be avoided, but if committed, sincere repentance is necessary.
-Social Responsibility
Islam promotes a society based on justice, honesty, and moral integrity.
-The Concept of Bay'ah (Pledge) Obedience to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and His Messenger (ﷺ) is a binding covenant for believers.
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala bind our hearts and the hearts of our loved ones to such a pledge and may he save us from straying onto the path of the hypocrites. Ameen

Hadith of the day!
Sahih al-Bukhari 85(Book 3, Hadith 27)
Narrated Abu Huraira RadiyAllahu anhu:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "(Religious) knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious scholars) ignorance (in religion) and afflictions will appear; and Harj will increase." It was asked, "What is Harj, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" He replied by beckoning with his hand indicating "killing." (Fath-al-Bari Page 192, Vol. 1)
Key Lessons:
-Value of Scholars
The death of learned scholars weakens religious understanding, emphasizing the importance of seeking and preserving Islamic knowledge.
-Dangers of Ignorance
Ignorance leads to misguidance, division, and societal corruption.
-Sign of the End Times
Increased violence and chaos are among the minor signs of the Day of Judgment.
-Need for Correct Knowledge. Muslims must strive to learn authentic Islam to avoid deviation.
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grant us and our loved ones refuge from ignorance, fitnah (trials), and violence. Ameen.

Hadith of the day!
Sahih al-Bukhari 25 (Belief)
Narrated Ibn 'Umar RadiYallahu anhu:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah."
Historical context and takeaways:
1. Pre-Islamic Arabia: Tribal Warfare & Idolatry.
- Before Islam, Arabia was divided into warring tribes with no central rule. Polytheism (shirk) was dominant, and social justice was weak.
- Tribes often raided each other, and there was no universal law protecting life or property.
2. The Islamic Call & Resistance
- When the Prophet (ﷺ) began preaching "Tawhid" (monotheism) in Mecca, the Quraysh elites opposed him fiercely, fearing loss of power and economic control (e.g., over the Kaaba’s idols).
- After the Hijrah (622 CE), the Muslim community in Medina faced military threats from Quraysh and allied tribes.
3. The Command to Fight: Defensive to Ideological
- Early battles (Badr, Uhud, Khandaq) were defensive, but after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah (628 CE) and the Conquest of Mecca (630 CE), the balance of power shifted.
- This hadith refers to the final phase, where the Prophet (ﷺ) was ordered to remove polytheistic rule and establish Islamic governance. The key objectives were:
- Ending idolatry: Fighting until people accepted "Shahadah" (no god but Allah).
- Establishing justice: Enforcing prayer (Salah) and charity (Zakat) as pillars of a moral society.
4. Protection Under Islamic Rule
- The hadith guarantees safety for those who submit to these principles, but with two conditions:
- "Except by the right of Islam": Criminal laws (e.g., qisas for murder, penalties for theft) still applied.
- "Their reckoning is with Allah": Hypocrisy or hidden disbelief was not punished by humans—only Allah judges the heart.
5. Post-Prophetic Application
- The early caliphs (like Abu Bakr) invoked this hadith during the Ridda Wars (Wars of Apostasy), fighting tribes that abandoned Zakat after the Prophet’s death, as it was a pillar of Islamic rule.
Key Takeaways
- This was not a call for forced conversion, but to dismantle polytheistic systems and establish divine law. Muslims, Jews, and Christians who accepted Islamic rule were protected (e.g., Pact of Umar).
- The priority was establishing justice, not individual faith—since Allah alone judges sincerity
My brothers and sisters, you have nothing to be shy about regarding your religion, we have been left with a perfect religion, one that the disbelievers have failed to debunk despite centuries of research and immense funding. Stand proud of your belief in the face of the disbelievers and declare that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad is his final messenger!
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grant us and our loved ones sincere faith and save us from the fire. Ameen.

My apologies in advance but this is beyond disgraceful, it’s a humiliating surrender of dignity and faith. What happened to the Ummah that once stood firm in its principles? Instead of guarding our values, we now roll out the red carpet for those who mock them, lining up women, unveiled and flaunting their hair, no hijab and no haya, to greet a man whose own society thrives on the degradation of morality. Is this the 'progress' we were promised?
We’ve traded the honor of Islam for the approval of those who will never respect us. They laugh at our weakness, while we parade our women as trophies of their so-called 'freedom.' Where is the shame? Where is the fear of Allah? When did we become so desperate for validation that we abandon what makes us Muslim??
This isn’t just pathetic, it’s a betrayal. And until we wake up, we’ll keep losing more than just our identity; we’ll lose the mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. How shameful!

- Rubio got in touch with Indian FM Jaishankar, after his calls with Pakistani military chief and FM despite the US expressing its desire to stay out of the conflict.
- This shows that the US is now actively involved in efforts towards de-escalation which is reflected by what appears to be coordinated messaging from India and Pakistan in the last hour.
- Whether or not it bears any fruit is something we'll have to wait and see.
