Reunited after 22 years of absence in occupation prisons.
Murad Barghouti finally reunites with his mother after she was able to fly to him, following his release from the prisons of the occupation in the Toufan Al-Ahrar prisoner exchange deal.
Murad from the village of Kobar, north of Ramallah had been sentence to nine life sentences and 50 years.
His journey on the path of resistance began after a soldier insulted his mother at the "Sarda" checkpoint, and spat in her face. Murad went to him and said:
After having formed a resistance cell, they headed to the checkpoint and opened fire on the soldiers, killing three of them.
Murad committed to undercover work for three years, serving as the link between three cells he helped establish including Al-Qassam cells known as the Martyrs Adil and Imad Awadallah Groups.
He also went to Lebanon with Al-Qassam Brigades, receiving training from Hezbollah, and then returned to the West Bank.
Him and his comrades were involved in dozens of operations at checkpoints and bypass roads. In total, according to occupation courts, he participated in the implementation of several armed operations in the West Bank, which led to the death and injury of about 20 soldiers, including the infamous "Ain Yabroud" operation which resulted in the killing of three soldiers and the confiscation of their weapons before safely withdrawing as well as the "Al-Qar'a Roundabout" operation.
Murad was arrested in 2003, and subjected to brutal military interrogation after his arrest.

🔻77 Years Of Resistance🔻
Seventy seven years ago, the Zionist project violently tore through our homeland. Over seven hundred thousand Palestinians were forced from their homes. Our towns were burned, our villages massacred, our women violated, our elders martyred, our families uprooted. The Nakba, was not a moment in history. It is a continuing reality. It is a wound inflicted on our people every day, from the refugee camps to the besieged streets of Gaza and to every single part of our homeland.
Yet seventy seven years later, after every bullet, every bomb, every betrayal, we stand stronger than ever. We are the children of the stones. We are the generation that carries the dreams of our ancestors in our blood. We are the beating heart of a people who refused to forget, refused to surrender, refused to sell.
Across North America and Europe, across refugee camps and liberated lands, across every street that carries the sound of our marching feet, we declare: the Nakba ends when Palestine is free.

🚨 Two martyrs in one day at the hands of the traitorous PA security forces.
Abu Khalil Al-Saba’aneh ascended to martyrdom this evening after being shot by Palestinian Authority security forces while in his vehicle in the eastern neighborhood of #Jenin.
He is the second martyr today, killed by the agents of the Authority that serves the enemy—following the martyrdom of Rami Zahran earlier in Tubas.
Glory to the martyrs.

🚨 Earlier today forces of the traitorous Palestinian Authority assassinated Rami Zahran in Al-Fara'a Camp, #Tubas.
Rami is the brother of the wanted hero Yazan Zahran. Rami was driving his brother’s car when he fell into a cowardly ambush setup by the forces of the authority, dressed in civilian clothing, opening fire on the vehicle until Rami ascended to martyrdom.
In recent weeks and days, the occupation forces raided the home of Yazan multiple times in attempts to arrest or assassinate him. Today, the Authority assassinates his brother.
In a previous post (media 3) Rami supplicates:
Following his martyrdom, the Zahran family released the following statement addressed to Mahmoud Abbas:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Allah Almighty said: “And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right. And whoever is killed unjustly—We have given his heir authority…” — This is the truth of Allah the Almighty.
At a time when the Palestinian cause is enduring great hardship, and while the Palestinian Authority claims to be undergoing reform, a military force affiliated with the General Intelligence Service has killed our son, the young man Rami Zahran, under the pretext that he was wanted by Palestinian security. He was killed in cold blood, without any engagement or confrontation taking place in the area of operations. The intelligence force moved in civilian clothing, despite the fact that Al-Fara'a Camp is known to uphold the rule of law, abide by political decisions, and has no cases of chaos or lawlessness.
Therefore, we will resort to international courts, the Red Cross, and all relevant forums to uphold the truth, defeat falsehood, and bring justice to the oppressed and to the martyr Rami Zahran—our son, a son of a struggling family that has offered martyrs at the hands of the occupation and has prisoners languishing in the occupation’s prisons. This incident will not pass without consequence.
Accordingly, we declare the following:
1. A general three-day mourning period in Al-Fara'a Refugee Camp.
2. A public state of alert in Al-Fara'a Camp and Tubas Governorate.
3. No funeral ceremony will be held for the martyr’s body.
4. All those involved in this grave tragedy must be handed over to military justice and dismissed from service—from intelligence sources, operations, and general administration.
5. The governor and the security services are no longer welcome in Al-Fara'a Camp as of this moment.
6. We call on the Human Rights Committee to act immediately and conduct a fair investigation into this case in order to uphold justice and enforce the law to guarantee every human being’s right.
An eye for an eye.
Glory to the martyrs.

Asmaa Sabaaneh (Abu Al-Haija), liberated prisoner and the wife and mother of prisoners and martyrs, passed away on the morning of 12 May 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer, in the Istishari Hospital in Ramallah. She passed away deprived of five of her children and her husband, Sheikh Jamal Abu Al-Haija; three of her sons and her daughter Banan are imprisoned alongside their father, and her son Hamza was martyred in 2014.
Asmaa’s passing comes just days after her daughter, Palestinian lawyer Banan Abu Al-Haija, was arrested by occupation forces at a checkpoint as she was driving to see her mother in the hospital on 7 May 2025. Banan was one of Asmaa’s closest caregivers who saw and supported her daily. She was ordered to administrative detention, imprisonment without charge or trial, just two days later, just as two of her brothers are held. Asmaa herself had been held in administrative detention for seven months in 2003.
Asmaa’s husband is Sheikh Jamal Abu Al-Haija, a Palestinian political prisoner and resistance leader serving 9 life sentences in occupation prisons. He is currently held in isolation alongside other leaders of the prisoners’ movement. A leader of the Hamas movement and a hero of the Jenin refugee camp battle of 2002, he served as the leader of the Izz el-Din Al-Qassam Brigades in the northern West Bank of occupied Palestine prior to his arrest.
Asmaa and Jamal’s elder sons, Abdel-Salam and Asem, are both held, like her daughter Banan, in administrative detention, without charge or trial. Abdel-Salam, who has served over 15 years total in occupation prisons, has been detained under repeatedly renewed orders since August 2022; Asem, who has served over 8 years total, has been detained under repeatedly renewed orders since June 2023.
Asmaa and Jamal’s son Imad has spent over 7 years in occupation prisons, mostly in administrative detention. He was released for the last time in April 2023. Like his sister Banan, he played an important role in supporting Asmaa’s care. However, he has now been imprisoned by the Palestinian Authority under its “security coordination” with the occupation since December 2024, held in Junaid prison for over 5 months as a political prisoner.
Asmaa and Jamal’s youngest son, Hamza Abu Al-Haija, was martyred in 2014. He and two of his comrades, Yazan Jabarin and Mahmoud Abu Zeina, were targeted for assassination. They had been pursued by the occupation forces for multiple years. At dawn on 22 March, occupation forces fired a missile at their apartment as they resisted. He had been detained on multiple occasions by both the occupation and the Palestinian Authority.
Over the years, Asmaa was denied permission to travel abroad or even to Jerusalem to receive specialized medical care. She was stripped of her beloved children and her husband, all deprived of a final farewell by imprisonment and the occupation. Throughout her life of struggle, she has become a symbol of steadfastness, strength and sacrifice, dedicating her life to her people and her land.

New at the Samidoun website: The Palestinian Authority’s latest attack on the prisoners and the resistance: Cutting financial allocations to 1612 Palestinian prisoners https://ift.tt/0VSIwo8
13.05.202509:38
This morning, the Palestinian Authority "security" forces, engaged in the process of "security cooperation" with the occupation, assassinated the young man, Rami Zahran in al-Fara camp near Tubas.
According to current local reports, Rami Zahran's brother, Yazan Zahran, has been "wanted" by the occupation for 5 months. They have invaded the camp in the past days searching for Yazan; many believe that when the PA forces opened fire on the Zahran brothers' car, they mistook Rami for Yazan.
This new crime is what the practice of "security coordination" looks like; hundreds of Palestinians detained by the PA, 40 martyrs at the hands of the PA since 2020, 1612 prisoners' allocations cut, in the interests of the occupation that is daily attacking the refugee camps in Jenin, Tulkarem and Tubas, expanding its illegal colonial settlements, displacing and attacking the Palestinian people as a whole. "Security coordination" provides no security for the Palestinian people but only for the occupation; instead, it further sheds the blood of the Palestinian people in the interests of Zionism and imperialism.
Glory to the martyr.

As part of the ongoing targeting of the police and security forces in Gaza, the line of defense against the collaborators of the occupation and the genocidal forces' attempts to impose chaos upon Palestinians in Gaza, the occupation forces assassinated Ahmed al-Qudra, member of the Police Command of the Gaza Strip, this morning in Khan Younis.
The Ministry of Interior and National Security mourns the martyr...
*Brigadier General Ahmed Abed Ibrahim Al-Qudra (44 years old), Director of the Anti-Narcotics Police and Member of the Police Command Council in Gaza*
Who was assassinated by the Israeli occupation in an air strike on the city of Khan Yunis in the early hours of Tuesday morning
The Ministry of Interior and National Security mourns the martyr Al-Qudra, who remained at work throughout the Israeli war of extermination and never hesitated to serve our people in the Gaza Strip. The Ministry condemns this heinous crime, which comes in the context of the ongoing targeting of the police force and security apparatus in the Gaza Strip.
The occupation's repeated targeting of the security and police apparatus and the assassination of its leaders, officers, and personnel will not achieve the occupation's goals and efforts to create chaos and security chaos in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Interior and National Security, with all its security and police agencies, will continue to fulfill its duty to preserve internal security and will stand as an impregnable barrier against the attempts of the occupation and its agents to undermine the internal front and destabilize it, regardless of the great sacrifices and the price paid by its best leaders, officers, and ranks.

🚨 Moments ago, US-backed zionist aircraft bombed Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, assassinating the journalist Hassan Aslih who was receiving treatment due to wounds he sustained in a previous airstrike.
This is the latest in a series of IOF attacks against journalists, as over 214 have been martyred since October 7.
