A 5-year-old girl was killed in a dog attack at her home in Covina on Sunday. Authorities say the girl was attacked by two family dogs, a 10-year-old Rottweiler and a 6-year-old Rottweiler mix, in the backyard of their home.
Paramedics rushed her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:23 p.m. The girl had lived with the dogs her entire life, and no prior incidents were reported. Two other dogs in the household were also removed.
One family member sustained minor injuries. Investigators don’t suspect foul play, but the incident is under investigation.

With Operation Take Back America, the Justice Department is securing the Southwestern Border. During the third week of March, U.S. Attorneys took major steps to combat illegal immigration, dismantle cartels, and fight violent crime:
