🇺🇸⚡️Last Wednesday at approximately 9:30 AM, a father was driving home with his two-month-old infant and three-year-old son after the child’s wellness check when tragedy struck.
A parolee—previously convicted of murder—was driving a stolen vehicle when law enforcement attempted to pull him over. Instead of complying, he fled, and just 13 seconds later, he T-boned a Ford Explorer, causing it to burst into flames.
Tragically, the infant was unable to be rescued from the fire. The three-year-old suffered severe burns across his entire body, while an officer and a brave citizen risked their own lives—suffering burns themselves—to pull him from the wreckage. The father, despite a broken spine and a ruptured spleen, managed to crawl to safety. Meanwhile, the children's mother was less than a mile away at work, preparing to open the restaurant where she was employed.
Adding to the horror, the suspect, after being apprehended, reportedly asked, "Did anyone die, though?"
