tgBTC Contract Updated on Testnet
TON Teleport team has moved tgBTC to a new smart contract address on the TON testnet as part of system improvements ahead of mainnet. This is a foundational milestone in our mission to bring Bitcoin to Telegram’s 1 billion users.
Over the past six months, users have minted 6,039 tgBTC and completed more than 9,541 transactions through TON Teleport — the trustless cross-chain bridge enabling Bitcoin’s use across DeFi, yield products, and the Telegram economy.
💎 As of May 12, all testnet tgBTC holders have automatically received updated tokens. Old tokens are no longer supported and may not function correctly, so please avoid using them.
