1. Forces from the 16th Reserve Brigade operating in Shojaiyeh were sent to conduct an offensive operation on the outskirts of the neighborhood, about one and a half kilometers from the border fence between Israeli occupied territories and the Gaza Strip. 5. At 17:39, about an hour after the first clash in which the Musta'rab force was killed, another anti-tank missile was fired at another tank from the 46th Battalion, and this time the missile hit, killing an officer from the battalion and lightly wounding another force.
6. About half an hour later, another anti-tank missile was fired at the forces, and the gunmen also opened fire with small arms, leaving two other forces moderately wounded.
