5. A Call for the Formation of a Coalition of Intellectuals, Academics, Citizens, and Devoted Politicians Loyal to National Interests
Iran now more than ever needs the voice of wisdom, dialogue, and national reconciliation.
As a humble servant of the academic and cultural community, I invite all my compatriots - academics, intellectuals, artists, workers, employees, villagers, civil activists, and devoted politicians loyal to national interests - to transcend factional, party, or ideological affiliations and contribute to the formation of a civil, independent, and transnational national coalition to defend Iran and rescue it from internal crises and external domination.
6. A Message to the World: Recognize Iran Beyond Its Government
My message to global politicians - from the East and West to neighboring countries and the Middle East region - especially those who claim to defend freedom and democracy, is to recognize Iran not merely through its ruling political system but as a nation of an ancient people and a living culture.
Insults from people the like Donald Trump are not only due to ignorance and populism but also indicate a lack of respect for historical and cultural differences in today's multipolar world.
Therefore, I invite all awakened consciences worldwide to support a better future for the region and the world through dialogue, cultural diplomacy, and academic cooperation, rather than fueling confrontations.
As an Iranian professor of philosophy who has always strived to reconcile internationalist and nationalist perspectives on the basis of justice, freedom, and peace, I neither defend misguided domestic policies nor condone foreign intervention. I do not deny freedom in the name of "security," nor do I betray my homeland in the name of "liberty."
I aspire for a free, rational, historical, peaceful, and proud Iran; an Iran that shines in the world for its commitment to peace and international justice and establishes true freedom, justice, and peace at home.
I believe that Iran's future lies not in the hands of authoritarian monopolists of any ideology but in the wise contemplation of its sages and the noble will of its people.
