I think I am now serious about doing the Druidry With Teeth blog. I feel like there's only so much I can do with the Telegram platform and need a more long-form format for relaying thoughts. So watch for that in the coming weeks.

Good Thor's Day.

The premise of the existence of laziness is almost as ridiculous within the context of human existence as the premise of work. Certainly there are limited resources and certainly there are territorial skirmishes even between non-human creatures. But the extent to which that is the case has been wildly overestimated by those in power. The Earth has provided medicine for nearly every ailment that naturally exists, and we had for many millennia utilized these forms of medicine and passed this information down to our children. Our ancestors before the development of capitalism understood how to work with the things the Earth produced and provide for their family and community. Our greed in attempting to produce plenty when the earth already produced plenty by itself led to the rise of modern agriculture and to climate change as it exists. Modern agricultural practices negate our past teachings; they don't work with them. They destroy the land and soil.

And now in 2025 when we have worked more than we ever have before in human history, and often have acquired less that our ancestors would have had in terms of basic necessities, while only the richest 1% of the population reap nearly half of the wealth, we are called lazy if we get tired and don't want to continue it.

Horseshit.

The concept of "laziness" is a scam by those in power to relay the blame of their own greed onto the working class. No creature outside of humans has an occupation and for good reason.

Good Sun's Day.

The sun has shon on the miserable incompetence of those claiming to be in power while those with money panic over the so-called "stock market", which, alongside money, is about as imaginary as imaginary things get. Most of conservative politics seems to center around panicking over things that don't exist and made-up scenarios.

And yet it is the animists who gain their ilk.

Irony.

They call the animists backwards and superstitious for venerating the sun and hills and trees, which are very real, while panicking over imaginary things and attacking the very fabric of their own biosphere, which is sure to kill them in the long run.

Good Woden's Day.

Today perhaps more than any day in many months I am feeling the effects of domestication. I cannot think of anytime recently when I felt more like an animal forced into a button down and pants and then required to drive a car through the biomes that I ought to be lounging in. And realizing that this is not just a feeling but the actual reality of the situation just makes it all the more miserable. I am a human creature and I am supposed to be eating, drinking, and foraging in a close-knit local community amongst local fauna and flora. Instead I am forced to work in a capitalist hellscape of a "civilization" and to make money to live.

I'm sure in the morning I will feel better. But it is always there like an itch. Like claws scratching at the back of my skull, always present.

I am desperate to be wild.

Good Sun's Day.

Rarely will I do two days back to back of thoughts for the day. But today I was thinking about how the ancient Greeks were said to have believed that the voices within the mind were those of the gods.

Are they not?

When we interact with that which is Divine, do we not tap into that which is greatest within us to speak with that which is outside of us? Is the Divine not within our very spirit? The Divine which exists outside of even the collective unconscious is etched into me, into you, into us. Each of us contains a spark of Divinity within ourselves.

Carl Jung believed the gods exist as archetypes within the self and collective unconscious. What is really to differentiate the Cernunnos archetype within me from the Cernunnos without? Where does my consciousness end and the other begin? Is the difference even there at all?
