No wrath for the Church of Christ!
We may rejoice that God's wrath is not laid upon
us, but we may realize that everything is laid upon Jesus Christ. By accepting His death on the cross and accepting His resurrection, you also accept that your punishment for your sins was borne by Jesus Christ. And how wonderful it is to know that! If you believe in Jesus Christ, you will not go through tribulation, but you will be raptured beforehand. We can look forward with joy to the moment we meet Jesus Christ in the air. What a meeting that will be! Believing becomes seeing from now on!
"And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come" (1 Thessalonians 1:10). That is, punishment and vengeance, which He will exact upon all disbelievers. (See Matt. 3:7. Rom. 1:18; 5:9).
"Therefore be on the alert always, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that are coming to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36).
"Because you have kept My commandment to persevere, I will also keep you from the hour of trial which is coming upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth" (Revelation 3:10). verses imply that true believers in Christ will escape a great hour of trial, a worldwide disaster, the wrath of God also called the great tribulation.
"For then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever will be" (Matthew 24:21).
"And at that time shall Michael stand up, that great prince, which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as was not since there was a nation even unto that time and at that time your people shall be saved, everyone who is found written in the book" (Daniel 12:1).📚💯
