The China-US trade war is now in full swing. Here is the benefits to the US. People will often focus on the negative stating that the tariffs are there to make us the consumer pay more. What no one is talking about is the fact that Chinese Sellers can no longer ship direct to US home addresses. Why, how do you think nefarious types here in the US are still able to get their hands on fentanyl? Of course there are criminal aspects of Temu, just like there are with Walmart, Amazon, and many other venders who sell direct on line. Most of the vender's here in the US get their products from China. Just look at Walmart and Amazon. President Trump's move is brilliant!. So how does venders in China adjust? The collaborate with local businesses here in the US to warehouse their products. Except for one thing, the “de minimis” exemption, a trade provision allowing packages under $800 in value to enter the U.S. duty-free. That's about to change. Local business now have another source of income. Yes, the cost will increase on Temu and Amazon products for sure, that's what President Trump said about a rough time ahead. However, now those packages are subject to inspection. It isn't so much the tariff that's being used, its the ability to inspect for illegal items like Fentanyl, other elicit drugs, and maybe even human trafficking. We as Patriots have to look at the bigger picture. Besides, anything we get on amazon, Temu, etc, are nice to haves, not needs. When president Trump says to go through a rough time, the only things we should be focusing on is food on the table, a shelter over our heads and security. ————————————————————————————— Temu Takes the U.S. Off Its Mailing List as Trump Tariffs Bite . President Donald Trump‘s escalating trade war with China has claimed another victim as Temu has shut up shop on its direct-to-consumer U.S. sales. The president’s latest move has targeted the “de minimis” exemption, a trade provision allowing packages under $800 in value to enter the U.S. duty-free. Temu—and rival Chinese retail giant Shein—had used the exemption to ship budget items into the country, to the delight of American bargain hunters. Trump briefly closed the loophole in February, but the decision was reversed as chaos descended on customs officials, delivery firms, and online retailers.
Packages sent to the U.S. from mainland China and Hong Kong valued at $800 or less will now face a 120 percent tax rate, or will be subject to a flat fee. The fee starts at $100 and is planned to rise to $200 in June.
Both Trump and former President Joe Biden have previously raised concerns about the undercutting of American businesses by Chinese-made consumer goods. An executive order, signed in April, justified the changes by citing concerns about the illegal importation of synthetic opioids like fentanyl. The administration claims that Chinese firms exploit the duty-free loophole to smuggle illicit substances into the country.
“These drugs kill tens of thousands of Americans each year, including 75,000 deaths attributed to fentanyl alone,” the order stated. https://www.thedailybeast.com/temu-takes-the-us-off-its-mailing-list-as-trumps-tariffs-kick-in/

So as main stream media continues to lie to us on why gas prices haven't followed suit as oils continues to drop in price, still being high at the pumps. MSM will give all sort of explanations from incomprehensible economist talk, to excuses about another Chinese pandemic, to a shaky market. Everyone knows the real reason, "Pure Corporate Greed"!!. The end won't be for everyone!!! ——————————————————————————————- Crude oil prices are sinking. So why are gas prices still high? The price of crude oil has dropped significantly compared to a month ago, but drivers in the U.S. are still experiencing sticker shock at the gas pump.
Crude oil is down more than $20 a barrel, or a decline of almost 20%, from its March peak. But gas prices remain elevated, costing an average of $4.11 a gallon at stations across the U.S., according to GasBuddy, a service that tracks fuel prices. That means prices at the pump have dipped about 5% during the same time.
So why aren't savings on crude oil translating to price relief for drivers?
"It does seem weird, but it's something that economists do expect and have studied for a long time," said Ben Storrow, a reporter for E&E News, a news outlet that covers energy.
When the price of crude oil rises, gas stations typically wait to hike their prices so as not to scare away customers. "But then once they do start to raise prices, they raise them very quickly," Storrow explained to CBS News.
On the flip side, when the price of crude oil drops, gas stations lower prices gradually. That allows them to make a profit on the discrepancy between what they're paying and what they charge motorists, he added.
"When the price of crude starts to drop, they will lower the prices at the pump more slowly. That's actually where gas stations make most of their money," Storrow said. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gas-prices-crude-oil-why-are-gas-prices-so-high-2022/

When you have problems like this in our prisons, you can't honestly believe that they will be re-educated or reformed into a functioning society. When you are that far gone, brain washed to the nth degree, you can only dispose of this problem from a great height. ————————————————————————-————— Three Virginia corrections officers were hospitalized Friday after an alleged coordinated attack by inmates affiliated with the violent MS-13 gang and another known gang, state Department of Corrections officials said in a statement.
The incident took place at approximately 9:45 a.m. at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Wise County. Officials said six inmates were involved in the assault.
Five of them are confirmed members of the MS-13 gang, originally from El Salvador, who were in the U.S. illegally. All five had been convicted of violent crimes, including aggravated murder, first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and rape. The sixth inmate is a U.S. citizen and a confirmed member of the Sureño 13 gang, serving a sentence for second-degree murder. https://www.foxnews.com/us/ms-13-gangbanger-illegal-aliens-accused-stabbing-3-corrections-officers-violent-virginia-prison-attack

The Tale of Two Militaries in your face because you can't mount an offensive against the Deep State when your rear guard is compromised. ——————————————————————————————— 'Loss of confidence in ability to command' cited as Navy commander relieved of duties. The U.S. Navy on Friday removed Cmdr. Joseph Dearing from his duties as commander of the Navy Reserve Center in Manchester, N.H. It just goes to show that Communist China - Their version of utopia where everyone gets an equal or common share isn't really communism - If it were, then free market trading wouldn't be an issue or even a calculus in their economy. Countries who have said that their communist regimes are the government of the future are nothing more than a modified version of democracy, with elements removed from the people. Communism is a lie, just like democracy is. Communism actually removes freedoms from the people, Democracy tricks you into believing you are free. Both are just different mechanics of the same thing: Control!! —————————————————————————————————— China’s unemployment crisis is worsening, residents told The Epoch Times, as the country’s exporters of consumer goods lose orders from the United States.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told reporters on April 29 that China could “lose 10 million jobs very quickly” if the U.S.–China tariff war doesn’t de-escalate or 5 million jobs if tariff rates are reduced.
In early April, Goldman Sachs forecast significant challenges for the Chinese economy and labor market, citing high U.S. tariffs, declining exports to the United States, and a slowing global economy.
The investment bank estimated that China could lose about 10 million to 20 million jobs that depend on U.S.-bound exports.
U.S.-based economist Davy Wong said the impact may be larger because of the indirect effects on various businesses, including suppliers for export manufacturers, packaging companies, and logistics companies.
“It could be between 30 million and 35 million jobs,” he told The Epoch Times, noting that the impact is “lethal” to China’s industrial cities.
Before the tariff conflict began this year, China’s college graduates were already in an unemployment crisis. The regime’s National Bureau of Statistics reported that the urban unemployment rate for youth aged 16 to 24, excluding students, fluctuated between 13.2 percent and 18.8 percent from December 2023 to March 2025.
However, many China analysts believe that the official data do not accurately reflect the country’s real youth unemployment rate, which may have reached as high as 46.5 percent in March 2023, Zhang Dandan, a professor at China’s elite Peking University, wrote in an op-ed published by Chinese media outlet Caixin in July 2023. https://www.theepochtimes.com/china/us-sanctions-could-lead-to-tens-of-millions-of-lost-jobs-in-china-5849585?utm_source=morningbriefnoe&src_src=morningbriefnoe&utm_campaign=mb-2025-05-01&src_cmp=mb-2025-05-01&utm_medium=email&est=uFNFAiJFG1ehKikqelK2OA1K89TUpROCmFvpGEo8kVpXyyhsYBPkPSg8BQisIwJjL%2BROWQDeVHU%3D

Karma is a bitch General Whiting. Matthew Lohmeier has gone through his senate confirmation testimony for the #2 Air Force Civilian position, Under Secretary of the Air Force. He held his ground against the evil demonic demon-crats. He's not falling for it again, and knows, as well as I do, the Tale of Two Militaries is real. Why do you think he was relieved of command two years ago. The Space Force tried to silence him and his book "Irresistible Revolution: Marxism's Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military ". Sure, they approved that he could write and publish his book, but I also know Space Force and previously Air Force Space Command - they will approve an action, then stab you in the back the first chance they get if they consider you a threat. You know the type I'm talking about......?.....They smile and agree with you as they plot your downfall. Lohmeier has learned the hard way that that two militaries exists, but now he is in a position that's gonna have a lot of power. If I read my lieutenant colonels correctly, those woke, stab you in the back, highly unethical, and highly questionable moral character officer and senior enlisted are about to get a very nasty surprise!!!!!! (As if they already didn't have enough problems with the recent firings). Yup——karma is a bitch!!!! ———————————————————————————————- Lohmeier, Nominee for Under SECAF, Defends Record in Confirmation Hearing. Matthew Lohmeier, who was fired from a Space Force squadron command just two years ago, took another step in his unlikely journey to the Department of the Air Force’s No. 2 job May 1, testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee that his background as an Air Force F-15C pilot and space operations officer have prepared him well for the post. “I speak the language of both the Air Force and Space Force,” he said. “I am air-minded and space-minded. I understand the necessity of United States superiority in both of those warfighting domains.” In 2021, he self-published a book alleging that Marxist ideology had become widespread in the military and criticizing the Pentagon’s focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion under President Joe Biden. After he expanded on those thoughts during a civilian podcast interview, he was removed from his command. https://www.airandspaceforces.com/usecaf-nominee-nuclear-modernization-record/

All I can say is "You and what Army"? People seem to forget that if you remove history from your culture, you are certainly doomed to repeat it. That's what demoncrats want, a repeat of the civil war on an industrial scale. If Hegseth wants to put Fort Cavazos back to Fort Hood, he should do it, regardless of corrupt state representative desires. Forts, bases, stations, etc.. are Federal Installations, not Army or Air National guard bases. Besides, there is a certain amount of stigma that should never be forgotten. The Nov 2009 Fort Hood Mass shootings by Major Nidal Hasan who was radicalized by Islamic groups in Yemen. We should never forget those things. You would have figured that demoncrats would want to keep the name by that very reason, as it supports their attempts at gun control. No matter, I believe Fort Hood is coming back! ———————————————————————————————— U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus have put Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on notice: Don't mess with the name Fort Cavazos.
With support from President Donald Trump, Hegseth has begun reversing a Biden-era initiative to remove the names of Confederate figures from military installations. Hegseth has restored names with Confederate connotations to two Army bases, and he has vowed to continue.
That has sparked fears that the Central Texas armored division base named for Gen. Richard E. Cavazos, the Army's first Hispanic four-star general, could be next. The Congressional Hispanic Caucus is trying to get in front of such a move.
In a letter to Hegseth on Tuesday, the caucus recounted how a bipartisan commission charged with renaming military facilities that bore Confederate names had "thoughtfully selected" Cavazos as the new namesake for Fort Hood. The Army fort had been named for Confederate Gen. John Bell Hood. The rebranding took effect in May 2023. https://www.expressnews.com/news/article/fort-cavazos-hegseth-castro-hispanic-confederate-20301152.php?sid=67efbc697cec501f8d07868b&ss=P&st_rid=null&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=nons_new&utm_campaign=saen%20%7C%20express%20briefing

The USS Truman is having all sorts of bad luck lately. At this rate, if the navy keeps firing it's strike force admirals, they're gonna run out of admirals. The acting Commander hasn't been relieved yet, but I'm not holding my breath. —————————————————————————————————
The USS Harry S. Truman lost an F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet that was being towed on Monday in the Red Sea, the Navy said.
The fighter jet slipped off the hangar deck of the aircraft carrier, deployed to the Middle East, as sailors were towing the aircraft into place in the hangar bay, the Navy said.
Two U.S. officials say initial reports suggest the jet may have fallen overboard after the carrier turned sharply while taking evasive action against the Yemen-based Houthi rebels.
The crew members who were in the pilot seat of the Super Hornet and on the small towing tractor both jumped out before the jet and the tug went into the Red Sea. One sailor sustained a minor injury, and all personnel are accounted for, the Navy said. An investigation is underway. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/navy-uss-harry-truman-aircraft-carrier-loses-super-hornet-fighter-jet-red-sea/
