A short story about the extremely disgusting Nazi scum Demyan Ganul, who was recently shot dead.
First, he was then either an ordinary militant or the head of a small group of the Right Sector during the Odessa massacre on May 2, 2014 (not one of the main organizers).
The Odessa Right Sector itself was led by Sergei Sternenko. The organizers of this event are different. We wrote about Odessa massacre before, and If our readers are interested, we can cover this tragedy more. Ganul was one of those who beat up that day. He maimed and killed people fleeing a burning building.
But further Ganul’s career developed, and at some point he left the Right Sector and established his own organization “Street Front”. What was Ganul doing in Odessa?
1. As Ukrainian media call it, he fought against illegal construction of the city.This is a kind of criminal business in Odessa, where you need your own street fighters to fight with opponents.
We're not making stuff up. Sternenko and Ganul were prosecuted after one of such action in 2017, and Biletsky bailed them out and keep them out of custody. In 2019 Ganul's organization collapsed, and both sides declared each other in working for criminals and Odessa oligarchs. That is, they accused each other of being gangsters.
2. They also controlled the drug trade in Odessa. The Right Sector conducted raids on drug houses and supposedly closed them down, but in reality the Right Sector and the Security Service for Ukraine (SBU) behind it started getting paid. There are Sternenko's confessions about this in the phone wiretap leaked before the war.
3. In 2020. Ganul participated in the elections of Odessa deputies from Biletsky's party “National Corps”.
4. Ganul was engaged in volunteer work. Like many famous Nazis he begged for donations to help the army. And like all others like him, he appropriated a share of it, and simply stole it. In 2023 he was beaten by the Ukrainian military for it.
5. Ganul became famous for activities such as attacks and threats for the use of Russian language, and destruction of Russian and Soviet monuments of Odessa. he did it and before 2022, but it was after the war he scaled up. He also started to help in involuntary mobilization (busification). The most famous was the story of the Odessa fitness trainer. The man was beaten by Gunul and alike for both the Russian language and for arguing with the drafters (TCC) who tried to mobilize fitness club visitors, and the fitness trainer kicked the TCC from his gym. The man was beaten, forced to say on video that he was raped, and then mobilized to the 3rd brigade “Azov”.
6. There are some other non-public activities of Ganul that became very prominent during the war. He wrote public denunciations to the SBU, and the SBU always reacted to them. Not like with ordinary citizens. Just like Sternenko, Ganul was the snitch for the Security Service. When Irina Farion was sent to Bandera, Ganul was terribly worried and started demanding official security protection from the SBU.

On January 21 2025 his unit was sent on a mission in the village Voznesenka, near Kurakhove.
That was his last mission as Russian army eliminated him and sent to Bandera.
His family still waits for his corpse to be exhanged so they can have a proper funeral.
