The Zainabiyoun Brigade: A Quiet Force of Sacrifice and Strength

🇵🇰❗: The Zainabiyoun Brigade is a group of brave Shia Muslims, born from struggle and sacrifice, who stood up to protect their faith and holy places.
In 2014, with help from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the brigade officially formed. Its mission was clear: defend the sacred shrine of Sayyida Zainab (peace be upon her) in Damascus, Syria, from extremists like ISIS.
They battled in places like Aleppo and Darra, losing at least 158 fighters by 2019—martyrs buried in Iran because Pakistan wouldn’t welcome them home.
Their sacrifices were immense. These fighters left families behind, driven by a deep love for their faith and a desire to stop injustice. But after the Assad regime fell, their path grew harder.
—Yet, under IRGC guidance, they carry on, though their work is quieter now.
Some falsely claim the brigade operates in Parachinar, Pakistan, BUT THIS ISN’T TRUE. Parachinar’s Shia have long defended themselves without outside help.
An Eternal Flame: Their fallen commander, Saqib Haider Karbalai, a Pashtun from Parachinar, died in 2017 fighting ISIL in Hama, Syria.
Today, the Zainabiyoun Brigade stands as a one of the symbol of resilience. Their history shows a people who crossed borders to protect what they hold dear, facing loss and hardship with unshaken faith.

Most moved to Iraq, with only a few staying in Syria. By 2024, Pakistan called them a terrorist group, leaving them trapped—unable to return home, hunted by both extremists and their own government.

Statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
God Almighty said: {O you who have believed, if you support God, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.} God Almighty's truth.
In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and in response to the ongoing war of genocide against our brothers in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces' missile force carried out a qualitative military operation with two ballistic missiles, one of which was a hypersonic Palestine 2 missile, targeting the Sodet Micha base in the occupied Ashdod region east of the city. This missile base serves as a launching pad for Jericho missiles and Arrow missile batteries.
The other missile, a Zulfiqar missile, targeted Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa region.
The Yemeni Armed Forces' unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) carried out a military operation targeting a vital Israeli enemy target in the occupied Ashkelon region using a drone.
By the grace of God, both operations successfully achieved their objectives, shutting down Ben Gurion Airport for about an hour, causing panic and confusion among the settlers, forcing millions of them to enter shelters.
The Israeli enemy, along with the Americans, must realize that dear Yemen—its leadership, people, and army—will not back down from its steadfast position in supporting and backing the oppressed Palestinian people, nor will it abandon its religious, moral, and humanitarian duties, regardless of the repercussions and the outcomes.
In this position, we rely on God Almighty, trust in Him, and have confidence in His promise, assistance, and victory. This support and assistance will not cease until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.
And God is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. He is the best Master and the best Helper.
Long live free, dignified, and independent Yemen.
Victory to Yemen and to all the free people of the nation.
