Want to put in a FOIA request with the FBI for files on both yourself, others, and organizations? The US Department of Justice has a website where you can easily just fill out a form within a minute with a mailing address and you get results mailed back to you within two weeks detailing their findings and steps forward.
We've used the service ourselves with success as well as the FBI telling us to fuck off on technicalities such as "it being used in a current investigation". Though this is random and arbitrary. Some of us got our FBI files, others were told to fuck off. Worth a try and it is free to request. Keep in mind however, to receive printed FBI files they tend to charge 10 cents a page for print outs. Generally be prepared to pay between $50-$100 to receive a redacted FBI file on a subject such as yourself. Given they just don't send you a letter saying to fuck off.
