Karm Al-Louz, Homs | University Lecturer Detained by HTS-Affiliated Security Forces
Dr. Khairat Muhammad, a teaching assistant at the University of Homs, was arrested on 17th Street in the Karm al-Zeitoun neighborhood by members of HTS’s so-called "General Security."
During the raid, officers confiscated his cash, gold, mobile phones, student files, and laptop. He was reportedly accused of “inciting Alawite and Druze students” against the HTS led government.
Dr. Khairat, a father of two, was taken to an undisclosed location. His family fears for his safety, given the documented pattern of abuse in similar detentions.
