A citizen from the Kurdistan region says: "In the past, when only the PKK was in the mountains, life was better. We were freer, we could move around comfortably and collect wild herbs.

Now the Turkish state has come; they don't leave us alone and make our lives very difficult."

SOHR:

Three young men have gone missing, after having left Al-Ashrafiyah neighbourhood in Aleppo city in their cars, heading to Afrin city.

On the other hand, militiamen stationed at the security checkpoint at the entrance of Raju town in Afrin countryside stopped all vehicles coming from Aleppo city and transported all passengers to the police station and the headquarters of the general intelligence service under the pretext that “they did not carry IDs issued from local councils in Afrin.

A levy of 700 USD was imposed on every passenger under the pretext that “they worked in civil circles of the former Autonomous Administration. Others were blackmailed and accused of “participating in guard shifts and/or working for the the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG),” where levies reached 2,000 USD were imposed on them in return for their release.

What is being described as “some of the heavy strikes of the campaign so far” have been launched tonight by the U.S. Navy and Air Force against Mount Nuqum near the Yemeni capital of Sana’a in Houthi-controlled Western Yemen. The areas targeted are said to include underground-munition storage facilities and other military sites operated by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist group, with dozens of explosions seen in the mountains from Sana’a.

According to sources
Turkey and Israel held their first technical meeting in Azerbaijan to establish a Syria deconfliction mechanism.

Israel warned Turkey that building bases in Palmyra is a red line and would damage trust.

Israeli officials, including Deputy Army Chief Roman Gofman and Defense Director Amir Baram, joined the talks.

Israel says:

No order has been given to act against Turkish forces in Syria.

Turkish troops must not appear near the Golan.

Communication with Turkey is in both sides' interest.

Their concern is not Turkey, but unstable forces who may gain power.

They will not stay silent if any military group poses a threat.

South Syria must remain free of hostile forces.

Airbases were bombed to prevent weapons reaching Ahmad Shara.

If Druze form their own forces, Israel won't interfere — but will defend them if attacked.

The Times:

Iran last week transferred long-range missiles for the first time to militias in Iraq.

This is the first time that pro-Iranian Iraqi militias have long-range surface-to-surface missiles that can reach Europe.

The transfer was organized by the IRGC's Air Force.

The transfer also included medium-range cruise missiles of the "Quds 351" and "Jamal 69" models.

Iran has transferred missiles, including new long-range models that have not been previously delivered to these groups, a desperate Iranian move that endangers Iraq's stability.

US President Donald Trump says he can mediate between Israel and Turkey, who appear poised to clash over influence in Syria.

Trump says he has a great relationship with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whom he likes very much and calls “very smart.”

Trump says he congratulated Erdogan on doing “what nobody has done in 2,000 years, taking over Syria” referring to the successful overthrow of the Assad regime by HTS rebels, whom Trump called a Turkish proxy.

Trump tells Netanyahu, who has a bitter relationship with Erdogan, that he can mediate.

“Any problem that you have with Turkey, I think we can solve, as long as you are reasonable, you have to be reasonable,” he told Netanyahu.
