The US Army wanted to create a "gay bomb".
In the '90s, the U.S. Army considered the idea of a chemical weapon that would have affected the outcome of a battle.
"Gay bomb" dropped on the enemy would spray an aphrodisiac that was supposed to make soldiers sexually attracted to each other.
The Pentagon admitted that there was indeed a project, but it did not go further than discussions.
