Fear not my son, you're in Valhalla now. Grab yourself a drink, we have all eternity to talk about it.
A bar stool is called a bar stool because it's supposed to be.... at the bar. Real pubs support the age old custom of drinking at the bar itself, whilst gastro environments prefer you to sit at tables like it's a restaurant. Look out for pubs with real barstools and the metal bars that run along the bottom for people to rest their feet.

1963 - Youth of South London touchingly sing Wot Cher! (Knocked 'Em In the Old Kent Road) in the documentary named 'The Changing Face of Camberwell'. Can you imagine modern children knowing such a culturally relevant song as well as this? Without pop music and other rubbish blaring from a radio or screen, today's kids wouldn't know music existed, never mind how unifying it can be. #OldKentRoad, #South #London

UPCOMING Pub/History #Tour of #London's COVENT GARDEN

Date: 24th May
Meeting At: Holborn Station
Time: 11 AM

We changed original date from the 17th because its on a busy day for football in #CoventGarden. Without the change of date people would not get to see inside some of the pubs we'll be visiting. The meeting point is #Holborn station (Kingsway, #London WC2B) and the Wetherspoons named the Shakespeare's Head which sits directly beside it.

The tour will last between 2-1/2 to 3 hours and will end in a pub.

Prices: £20 per ticket (for over 18s),
16-18: £10
Under 16s: Free (If accompanied by a paying adult)
Dogs have a great instinct for home. For this reason, they love pubs.

In the body of each adult is the mind of a child who's been winging it the whole time.

A proper gem amongst the sea of new-age hippie shops in Glastonbury 🍺
After the bartender told Nelly that “We don’t allow your kind here," he sued the pub for discrimi-NEIGH-tion.
As soon as I see a pub is dog friendly, I know it's a fine establishment. 🐕🍻

A beautiful, cosy public house will often confuse me as to where the pub begins and home ends.

One of my most popular videos from the days when I made my content on my old mobile phone was the story of the Pirate of Porlock. Seems only fitting I do a remake, filmed on location on the north coast of Somerset! 🏴‍☠️

A lady just accused me of hating women, but I found her comment to be incredibly sexist. I love women, I've been sleeping with them for years.
The long lost Oxford Arms on Warwick Lane in the 'City of #London', 1875. This beauty was one of the last surviving galleried coaching inns within the whole of London. It stood near St Paul's Cathedral between the 17th and late 19th centuries. Now, all we have left are a few photographs. #RIP

There is no greater addition to a pub than that of a beautiful fireplace.
