136 MS-13 members

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Awareness Day- today is a somber reminder of the tragedies that occur across our tribal lands. I spent the afternoon with leadership from the communities impacted, and left with a promise from @FBI to do more.

Operation Not Forgotten is a step to prevent more horrors like that of Emily Pike- 14 year old girl whose dismembered remains were partially discovered in trash bags on 2/14/25. This case remains open, and her arms have yet to be recovered. I met with her family, we have to raise awareness and find answers.

We must find the missing and prevent future tragedies on all of our lands.

CAPTURED: HARPREET SINGH, part of an alleged foreign terrorist gang here illegally in the United States, who we believe was involved in planning multiple attacks on police stations both in India and the United States.

@FBISacramento conducted the investigation coordinating with our partners locally as well as in India.

Excellent work from all, and justice will be done.

Tren de Aragua is an extremely violent, highly organized transnational gang. The FBI assesses some members of the Maduro regime have links to TdA members who look to use those ties to advance their criminal objectives. We stand by this assessment and consider TdA's presence a direct threat to our national security. Together with our law enforcement partners, we are actively working to identify, disrupt, and dismantle their networks. We will not allow foreign-backed criminal organizations to take root in our communities.

More drug trafficking arrests:

I can now report that this week, the FBI arrested 16 individuals for the distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.

For the last three years, Tribal Lands have reported escalating levels of violence — often involving illicit substances.

The individuals we’ve arrested are affiliated with multiple major drug trafficking organizations among the major suppliers to the PRIR — and we believe key contributors to the spike in violence.

These arrests part of our renewed effort to work with Tribal leadership and better engage their concerns.
