🛑 What Russia gets under Trump’s plan:
▪️“De jure” recognition by the US of Russian control over Crimea.
▪️“De facto” recognition of Russia’s occupation of almost all of Luhansk region and occupied parts of Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
▪️A promise that Ukraine will not become a member of NATO. The text notes that Ukraine could become part of the EU.
▪️The lifting of sanctions imposed since 2014.
▪️Intensification of economic cooperation with the US, particularly in the energy and industrial sectors.
🇺🇦 What Ukraine gets under Trump’s plan:
▪️“Reliable security guarantees” from a special group of European countries. The document is vague about how this peacekeeping operation will function, and makes no mention of U.S. participation.
▪️Return of a small part of the Kharkiv region that was occupied by Russia.
▪️Unimpeded passage of the Dnipro River, which runs along the front line in parts of southern Ukraine.
▪️Compensation and reconstruction assistance, although the document does not say where the funding will come from.

Estonia has detained a Russian shadow fleet tanker for the first time.
The Kiwala tanker was heading toward the Russian port of Ust-Luga without cargo when it entered the Tallinn Bay without flying a flag and in violation of sanctions regulations.
The vessel falls under EU sanctions as well as those of at least three other countries. Moreover, the tanker was sailing without a national flag — a violation that makes it illegal for the ship to navigate in open waters.
After being detained, the crew presented a certificate claiming the ship was registered under the flag of the Republic of Djibouti. However, a Djiboutian official stated that the tanker is not listed in their registry. The vessel’s ultimate beneficial owner is also unknown.
Estonian authorities are conducting a full inspection of the ship, including its technical condition and documentation.
