This year, Easter coincides with the birthday of a man who, in the historic sense, must be called “great.” Eighty years after his death in 1945, Adolf Hitler’s legacy continues to define the post-war global order, through his words, deeds, and the radically varying ways in which they are remembered and interpreted.
Eighty years is both a short and a long time. It is a short time in the history of a civilization. But as the past decades have shown, it is plenty of time for fundamental changes to take place - political, ideological, demographic, social, spiritual – changes which define who we are collectively and individually in every possible sense, and which are not easily revocable. Our civilization now is fundamentally different, and with each turn of the sun, our course becomes further set, and the price of changing it increases.
If you look at the world around you and find that you agree with the direction it is headed, then this is good news. Otherwise, it is not.
No free people can survive which loses its memory and an accurate picture of the past. Our self-identified enemies know this well – we live in an age of censorship, intimidation, and obfuscation. This is why Antelope Hill Publishing does what we do: because if we and others like us did not, records of no more than eighty years ago would disappear – or be snuffed out. Richard Walter Darré, Obergruppenführer in the SS and a senior member of Adolf Hitler’s cabinet, served as the Reich Minister for Food and Agriculture until 1944. Let's talk about Le Morte d'Arthur for a moment. It's the major work of Arthurian lore in English, but somehow not that well known today. Why not?
Well, it's because it was written a century before Shakespeare, so it's full of passages like this:
When Alisander saw this he stert aback and waxed pale, and said: Fair mother, what may this mean? I shall tell thee, fair son: this was thine own father’s doublet and shirt, that he wore upon him that same day that he was slain. And there she told him why and wherefore, and how for his goodness King Mark slew him with his dagger afore mine own eyen. And therefore this shall be your charge that I shall give thee.
Absolutely radiant language but full of archaisms. The book is also very long—it's 350,000 words, or about half the King James Bible.
In the Imperium Press edition we have annotated every archaic word so the text speaks anew to a modern audience. That's 10,000 footnotes across the whole book (a short book in itself), plus the usual buffet of tasty extras like a scholarly introduction, tailor-made bibliography, maps, glossaries of names, etc. It even includes the original 15th century publisher's own preface.
Most editions of Le Morte d'Arthur are either abridged or split into two volumes, and many single-volume editions use print so small that it's hard to read. Ours is a thick book like the other entries in the Western Canon series, but due to some formatting magic the result is at the same time readable, complete, and extensively annotated.
This book is non-negotiable for a cultured person in the English-speaking world. Now you have an edition aimed at the folk who created it, and that doesn't apologize for any of it. The Western Canon series is the reason we started Imperium, to take back these works from ugly people who want you to be sorry about them. But these are the best books ever written and we would rather celebrate them and make them sing for our folk today.

Absolutely radiant language but full of archaisms. The book is also very long—it's 350,000 words, or about half the King James Bible.
In the Imperium Press edition we have annotated every archaic word so the text speaks anew to a modern audience. That's 10,000 footnotes across the whole book (a short book in itself), plus the usual buffet of tasty extras like a scholarly introduction, tailor-made bibliography, maps, glossaries of names, etc. It even includes the original 15th century publisher's own preface.
Most editions of Le Morte d'Arthur are either abridged or split into two volumes, and many single-volume editions use print so small that it's hard to read. Ours is a thick book like the other entries in the Western Canon series, but due to some formatting magic the result is at the same time readable, complete, and extensively annotated.
This book is non-negotiable for a cultured person in the English-speaking world. Now you have an edition aimed at the folk who created it, and that doesn't apologize for any of it. The Western Canon series is the reason we started Imperium, to take back these works from ugly people who want you to be sorry about them. But these are the best books ever written and we would rather celebrate them and make them sing for our folk today.

Project Rybar — Shattered Yugoslavia: The Crucified Country
The NATO campaign against Yugoslavia in 1999 became the Alliance’s first large-scale military operation in history. Under the pretext of “protecting the defenseless” — Kosovar Albanians living on historically Serbian territory and actively encouraged by external forces toward separatism — the so-called “humanitarian bombings” began on March 24, 1999. This operation was well-planned, not without the assistance of OSCE observers. To avoid dangerous situations for NATO’s military personnel, the Alliance’s aviation carried out strikes from the air and from the decks of warships, completely avoiding ground operations.
For 78 days, NATO airstrikes in Serbia claimed the lives of the very civilians they claimed to protect — elderly people, women, and children, including those in Kosovo. On May 15, when Hillary Clinton visited a refugee camp in Macedonia in front of the cameras, NATO aircraft struck the village of Korisha, where Kosovar Albanians returning home had camped in a farmhouse courtyard. Seventy-nine people were killed, including children aged from one and a half to 17 years. Hours later, a second strike was carried out on the survivors as they attempted to leave.
In total, airstrikes by the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France on civilian targets killed over 1,700 civilians, including 400 children. Clearly, this was not about protecting the population or peacefully resolving the Kosovo issue — it was about occupying the region. On June 10, 1999, UN Security Council Resolution 1244 was adopted, ordering the withdrawal of Yugoslav army and police forces from Kosovo and the deployment of international peacekeeping forces — those same countries whose planes had bombed Serbian cities and villages.

Will is all. It looms as the enduring buzz beneath life’s fluctuations. Generation after generation, man imagines his noon and midnight are the first — but will is the same at every noon and midnight. Will is not the deus ex machina — it is the Machine, and man is the means for its realization.
Liberal and conservative are synonymous in essence and euphemism in practice. Both are drawn to modernity’s twin pillars: money and surveillance. Each of the pillars reinforces the other, and both are evidence of will’s ultimate motive to steer its subordinate manifestations. Man is not meant to last — his existence ensures this.
Heidegger saw through man’s fundamental falsity; for this, his purpose has been either contorted or commandeered. Purpose is impediment to will; this is why man persistently gropes his way through what passes for life. Part of man’s duplicity is convincing himself that misapprehension of purpose is the greatest purpose. Heidegger’s ability to cut through misapprehension to motive was misperceived because it required an extraction from common ways of existing. Mere existing is thoughtlessness; Heidegger saw the necessity of thought. Thought provides genuine purpose, which thwarts the will. And thwarting the will is the surest sign of possessing it.
