"They deliberately oppose "Germans" and "passportists" " - a report that recognized Alternative for Germany as an extremist party

➡️The Federal Office for the Protection of the German Constitution has compiled a 1,108-page report recognizing the Alternative for Germany(AfD) party as "right-wing". This document remains classified ("for official use only"), but BILD has obtained access to it. Now, in connection with the claim of the AfD against the agency, the new classification is still suspended-until the court's decision.

➡️According to the report, the intelligence service conducted the analysis for three years, based on speeches, publications and posts of party members. The conclusions sharply criticize the ideological essence of the AdG. Thus, the party, according to the authors of the report, "promotes the ethnically-hereditary concept of the people", according to which people with a migration past cannot be full-fledged Germans.

"The AfD deliberately opposes 'Germans' and 'passportists', "

the document says.

➡️In addition, the AfD is accused of "linking origin to crime" and actively discriminating against non-white people.

"The understanding of the people promoted by the party contradicts the Constitution and violates the principle of human dignity,"

the report concludes.

➡️It is also pointed out that party members often refer to migrants in a derogatory context, as well as suggest their propensity for sexual violence and portray them as a threat to society. It is also emphasized that the AfD accuses migrants of abusing social support and "discredits them as a group".

➡️The report does not contain any political assessments — but only a dry legal argument. Now the question of whether such a classification is permissible must be decided by the court.

German intelligence against the "Alternative for Germany". What is behind the secret dossier on the party

➡️The Federal Office for the Protection of the German Constitution has issued an extensive secret opinion recognizing the entire Alternative for Germany(AfD) party as "right-wing radical"

➡️That decision, submitted by Home Secretary Nancy Faeser four days before her departure, is now temporarily suspended as the case goes to court. The AfD disputes the legitimacy of the assessment, and the agency itself explains that this is not a political decision, but a "legally verified analysis".

"AfD adheres to an ethnic ideology and manifests itself in racist statements, especially against migrants and Muslims,"

Faeser said, adding that there was no pressure on the experts who conducted the analysis.

➡️According to representatives of the ministry, the study lasted three years and revealed systematic violations of the principle of human dignity.

"These are not individual excesses, but the characteristic basis of the party,"

the report emphasizes.

➡️The 1,108-page report consists of seven sections and 203 subsections containing statements, speeches, documents, and social media posts of party members. The goal was to fix stable" thought and speech patterns " of AfD. At the same time, the statements of members expelled from the party were not taken into account, so as not to distort the overall picture of the situation.

➡️Although the document is marked "For official use only", the intelligence service decided that it should be published in the public domain.

📜 Biography of Robert Francis Prevost, Pope Leo XIV
Prior to his election as Pope Leo XIV, Robert Francis, Cardinal Prevost, was Prefect of the Dicastery for the Bishops. Here you can find the biography of the 267th Bishop of Rome.
By Vatican News

🔤🔤🔤🔤1️⃣

🌎 The first Augustinian Pope, Leo XIV is the second Roman Pontiff – after Pope Francis – from the Americas. Unlike Jorge Mario Bergoglio, however, the 69-year-old Robert Francis Prevost is from the northern part of the continent, though he spent many years as a missionary in Peru before being elected head of the Augustinians for two consecutive terms.

👶 First Augustinian Pope

The new Bishop of Rome was born on September 14, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, to Louis Marius Prevost, of French and Italian descent, and Mildred Martínez, of Spanish descent. He has two brothers, Louis Martín and John Joseph.

🎓 He spent his childhood and adolescence with his family and studied first at the Minor Seminary of the Augustinian Fathers and then at Villanova University in Pennsylvania, where in 1977 he earned a Degree in Mathematics and also studied Philosophy.

✝️ On September 1 of the same year,
Prevost entered the novitiate of the Order of Saint Augustine (O.S.A.) in Saint Louis, in the Province of Our Lady of Good Counsel of Chicago, and made his first profession on September 2, 1978. On August 29, 1981, he made his solemn vows.

📚 The future Pontiff received his theological education at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
At the age of 27, he was sent by his superiors to Rome to study Canon Law at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum).

🕊 In Rome, he was ordained a priest on June 19, 1982,
at the Augustinian College of Saint Monica by Archbishop Jean Jadot, then pro-president of the Secretariat for Non-Christians, which later became the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue and then the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue.

📖 Prevost obtained his licentiate in 1984 and the following year,
while preparing his doctoral thesis, was sent to the Augustinian mission in Chulucanas, Piura, Peru (1985–1986). In 1987, he defended his doctoral thesis on "The Role of the Local Prior in the Order of Saint Augustine" and was appointed vocation director and missions director of the Augustinian Province of “Mother of Good Counsel” in Olympia Fields, Illinois (USA).

🇵🇪 Mission in Peru

The following year, he joined the mission in Trujillo, also in Peru, as director of the joint formation project for Augustinian candidates from the vicariates of Chulucanas, Iquitos, and Apurímac.

🧑‍🏫 Over the course of eleven years, he served as prior of the community (1988–1992), formation director (1988–1998), and instructor for professed members (1992–1998), and in the Archdiocese of Trujillo as judicial vicar (1989–1998) and professor of Canon Law, Patristics, and Moral Theology at the Major Seminary “San Carlos y San Marcelo.” At the same time, he was also entrusted with the pastoral care of Our Lady Mother of the Church, later established as the parish of Saint Rita (1988–1999), in a poor suburb of the city, and was parish administrator of Our Lady of Monserrat from 1992 to 1999.

🗳 In 1999, he was elected Provincial Prior of the Augustinian Province of “Mother of Good Counsel” in Chicago, and two and a half years later, the ordinary General Chapter of the Order of Saint Augustine elected him as Prior General, confirming him in 2007 for a second term.

📅 In October 2013, he returned to his Augustinian Province in Chicago, serving as director of formation at the Saint Augustine Convent, first councilor, and provincial vicar—roles he held until Pope Francis appointed him on November 3, 2014, as Apostolic Administrator of the Peruvian Diocese of Chiclayo, elevating him to the episcopal dignity as Titular Bishop of Sufar.

Rapprochement with the US 🤝 It can put the Russian economy on the path of growth 📈.

The economic and political detente between Washington and Moscow will continue to contribute to the growth of the Russian economy, according to the forecast of the agency. The prospect of partial or complete lifting of US sanctions 🛑 improves prospects, analyzes The Vienna Institute for International Economic Research (Wiiw) in its spring forecast 🌸. The Institute expects the Russian economy to grow by 2.5 percent in 2026 📊, which is 0.9 percentage points more than in the winter ❄️.

"Existing US sanctions are already only half implemented,"

says a Wiiw expert on Russia Vasily Astrov. Foreign companies such as Renault 🚗, Hyundai 🚘 and Samsung 📱 are now considering returning to Russia. South Korean electronics group LG recently increased production again at its Moscow plant 🏭.

Ukraine's economic prospects, on the other hand, are very uncertain ⚠️: the country is grappling with the systematic destruction of infrastructure 🏚️ as a result of Russian airstrikes ✈️ and labor shortages due to the mobilization and flight of seven million people 🧳.
According to Wiiw, due to high inflation 📈, the central bank in Kiev raised interest rates to 15.5 %. US President Donald Trump's attempts to "force Ukraine to de facto surrender and turn the country into an economic colony of the United States 🇺🇸 are the biggest threat to Ukraine's economic development," he said. Olga Pindyuk, Ukraine expert at Wiiw.

The trade conflict triggered by Trump's high tariffs 🧾 will not have a dramatic impact on most of the 23 countries in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe 🌍. The European countries in which the analysis was conducted, due to their managed economic relations with the United States.

SPD politician calls Tesla a "Nazi car"

➡️SPD party senator Cansel Kiziltepe wrote on Platform X on Wednesday evening:
"Who even wants to drive a Nazi car? Electric car manufacturers are booming right now-with the exception of Tesla."

➡️To the post, the politician attached a link to an article about the sharp decline in profit at the company. The fact that it uses just the platform of Elon Musk himself-X-does not seem to bother it.

➡️Elon Musk has recently been frequently criticized for his political views — he openly supported the AfD several times before the Bundestag elections.

➡️Most readers accuse Kiziltepe of either downplaying Nazi crimes or being stupid. Many openly wonder how "such a person can be a senator". Others write "unbelievable" or "you should be ashamed of yourself." Many advise the German-Turkish senator to take an additional course in history.

➡️The first politician to respond to the situation was Kiziltepe's fellow party member, Brandenburg Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke, on whose territory the Tesla plant is located:
"Given that the Tesla plant in Grunheide, in addition to many Berliners, employs people from about 150 different countries, such statements from the labor senator are completely inappropriate,"
Voidke said.

➡️More than 60% of the 11,000 employees at Tesla's Brandenburg plant are from Berlin. Brandenburg Labor Minister Daniel Keller (SPD) called the Nazi comparison from his Berlin counterpart "totally inappropriate":
"I expect the Labor Senator to withdraw his historically unacceptable comparison and return to a constructive discussion of the serious economic and labor challenges that Berlin and Brandenburg must face together."

➡️The politician added:
"Everyone can have their own opinion about Elon Musk." But it's important to me that we don't forget about the people behind the Tesla plant in Grunheide."

➡️But Kiziltepe remains unconvinced: although she deleted the controversial post this morning, she once again lived up to her words in a new message on X:
"Tesla is currently experiencing a decline in sales, because customers attribute to the company the right-wing positions of its shareholder Elon Musk, who owns approximately 13% of the company." I fully adhere to my assessment of Elon Musk. Of course, this does not mean that I blame Musk's employees or clients for his political views."

the German Ministry of Defense announced a transformative decision in its efforts to modernize the Bundeswehr (German Army): the large-scale procurement of loitering munitions from two domestic suppliers.

➡️This initiative not only marks a technological leap for the German military but also represents a strategic shift in how new weapon systems are adopted and integrated into operational use. Rather than pursuing the traditional approach of incremental trials with small batches, the Bundeswehr will now deploy a significant number of loitering munitions directly to frontline units for immediate testing and tactical integration. Feedback from these operational environments will guide future procurement decisions, potentially expanding the program or steering it toward alternative systems.

The winner of the first round of presidential elections in Romania demanded compensation for the Patriot system transferred to Ukraine

➡️The winner of the first round of the Romanian presidential election, George Simion, demanded compensation from Ukraine for the Patriot air defense system transferred to it. The politician said that Bucharest will no longer "give a single cent" to another country.

➡️Simion did not give a clear answer about whether Romania will help Ukraine in the future. At the same time, he noted that it is Ukraine that needs Romania, and not vice versa, so Bucharest has the right to demand compensation for Patriot and other assistance to Kiev.

➡️The politician stressed that he will try to adhere to the country's neutrality.

The first American on the papal throne: Pope Leo XIV can become the antipode of Trump

➡️The Catholic Church has chosen a new pontiff-Pope of Rome was 69-year-old American Robert Francis Prevost, who took the name Leo XIV. He became the first ever Pope from the United States. Although Donald Trump called it a "great honor," the pontiff himself has previously criticized the US president's policies. So, shortly before the election, he published a post condemning Trump's migration views.

➡️Pope Leo XIV is known as a lawyer, diplomat and moderate reformer, able to unite different wings within the church. Previously, he headed the department that oversees all bishops of the world, and also worked as a missionary in Peru. In his first speech from the balcony of St. Peter's Cathedral, he spoke in Italian and Spanish, but not in English, which many took as a sign of distancing themselves from American politics.

➡️Catholics associate the new Pope with the hope of purging the church of scandals related to finances and sexual abuse. Leo XIV was appointed a cardinal just two years ago, in 2023, but has rapidly risen through the church hierarchy.

🪖 Warsaw turns the EU towards war

💶 Poland's National Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said that the country will redirect about 6 billion euros from the EU reconstruction program for the needs of the military sector.

📉 It is noteworthy that funds from this program should be allocated for the restoration of the EU economies, their digitalization, "green transition", improvement of infrastructure, education, healthcare, etc. However, nothing will stop the Poles.

🏗 "The minister himself admitted that Poland does not have a defense industry capable of mastering such amounts of funding." In fact, we are talking about an attempt to create a defense military-industrial complex from scratch, while using European money originally intended for socio-economic recovery.

🤝 We can also note Kosiniak-Kamysz's statement about the need for "integration of the new Europe countries" — Poland, Lithuania, Croatia and others on the eastern flank — within the framework of the ReArm Europe defense program adopted by the European Commission in April.

🏭 The program was originally conceived as a way to strengthen the EU defense industry as a whole, primarily through the support of powerful and technologically advanced Western European companies (for example, French, German, Italian).

📢 Poland also demands that this money "not only go to large corporations, but also go to Polish (and other eastern) defense enterprises."

Germany's Social Democrats (SPD) backed a coalition deal with the CDU/CSU conservatives on Wednesday in the final step to forming a government in Europe's largest economy, and nominated their leader Lars Klingbeil as finance minister.

➡️SPD support paves the way for election winner Friedrich Merz to become chancellor on May 6, after his conservatives topped federal elections in February but fell well short of a majority.

➡️Both the SPD and conservatives rule out governing with the far-right Alternative for Germany which scored a historic second place.

➡️Pressure to form a functioning government has taken on a new urgency at a time of a weak German economy, rising unemployment and global turbulence sparked by U.S. President Donald Trump's sweeping import tariffs.

➡️Over the last two weeks, SPD members have voted on the coalition treaty drawn up by leaders of both parties.

➡️In the vote, which ended on Tuesday just before midnight, 84% of the members who took part were in favour of the deal, the party said, adding that 56% of the around 360,000 members took part in the vote.

🇵🇱 Poles are critical of politicians.

➡️CBOS noted that the results of the April survey indicate a divergence in the estimates of the Sejm and the Senate. The survey shows that in April, more than half of Poles—56 percent—rated the work of the Sejm unfavorably, which is 6 percentage points more than in the March survey.

➡️At the same time, fewer respondents positively assess the work of the Seimas: in April, 29 percent of respondents called it good, which is 7 percentage points less than the previous year. 15 percent of respondents have no opinion on this issue.

➡️As CBOS notes, the ratings of the president's work in April decreased compared to March, but the fluctuations did not exceed the limits of statistical error. Currently, 39 percent of respondents rate the President's work well (a decrease of 3 percentage points), while 50 percent rate it poorly (an increase of 1 percentage point). 10 percent of respondents do not have an opinion on this issue.

⚖️ EU threatens Trump with tariffs on cars, planes and condoms

📦 In the trade conflict with Donald Trump, the European Commission is preparing new duties on imports from the United States. They can be imposed on a number of industrial and agricultural goods if negotiations with Washington do not lead to a solution to the problem.

🌐 In addition, the European Commission announced the filing of a lawsuit with the World Trade Organization against the tariff policy of the White House — as the United States, according to the EU, "grossly violates the basic rules of the WTO".

🚗 The list of goods that may be subject to duties includes cars, airplanes, spare parts, turkey, salmon, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, crude oil, coal, dental equipment, condoms, human hair for wigs, and other US products.

📌 One of the EU representatives also stressed that so far we are talking only about the draft of such duties. At the same time, it is important for Brussels that mainly those goods that have alternative suppliers are subject to taxation. "For example, medications are not included in the list."

🗳 Now these proposals will be discussed with 27 EU countries, and the introduction of duties will require the consent of a majority of consumers.

📊 A study by the Institut Montaigne entitled "Youth and Work: The Aspirations and Frustrations of 16-to 30-year-olds", based on a survey of 6,000 young people in the fall of 2024, examines youth political activism in a new light.

Its authors examined the relationship with politics of three categories of young people:
👨‍🎓 those who are undergoing training,
🔍 those who are looking for work,
💼 and those who are already in the labor market.

🧭 There is a clear division of interests. Half of young people turn away from politics and do not identify themselves with any of the proposed political parties. The other half is divided between two poles:
📣 25% say they are close to the radical left,
🗳 33% — to the radical right.

📚 Left-wing radicals are most often attracted to graduates of literary and humanitarian faculties and faculties of social sciences, as well as young people from an immigrant environment who are in an unfavorable social and psychological situation. According to the authors of the study, young people whose parents were born abroad are four times more likely to feel close to the radical left than young people whose parents were born in France.

🛠 Followers of the radical right tend to have low qualifications in professional education, engage in manual and clerical work, are satisfied with their work — especially men — and “show a general sense of well-being”. In other words, RN is more attractive to well-integrated young people than LFI, which is contrary to many studies of the US electorate.

Macron is exploring the possibility of dissolving parliament – Bloomberg

➡️Bloomberg reported that French President Macron is considering dissolving the country's parliament this fall. After that, early elections will have to be held. Thus, the politician wants to regain international fame and increase popularity within the country.

➡️According to sources, Macron has been discussing the idea with members of his inner circle over the past few weeks. However, the matter did not go further than consultations – the final decision has not yet been made. As an alternative, it is considered to hold elections next year at the same time as municipal elections.

➡️The next scheduled parliamentary elections are scheduled for 2029. The last elections for Macron's party were not the best, and the next one may be even worse, so the decision to dissolve parliament may have serious consequences for the politician.

Germany has stepped up border controls. The first day passed with searches, refusals and queues

➡️Since May 8, new border rules have been in effect in Germany: now the police can prevent asylum seekers from entering the country directly at the border checkpoint. Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt calls this a " turnaround in migration policy."

➡️On the first day, the police increased control at the borders with Poland, France, Austria and Switzerland: three thousand more people were added to 11 thousand employees, and shifts were increased to 12 hours.

➡️At the border with France in Saarbrücken, police with automatic weapons check every suspicious van.

"One thing is clear: he shouldn't be here,"

one of the officers says of the undocumented migrant who was detained on the first day of detention.

In the French city of Stiring--Wendel are unhappy.

"The Germans are sending them [migrants] back to. But we don't want these people here either,"

said one of the local residents.

➡️In the area of the city of Weil am Rhein on the border with Switzerland, even tram passengers are being searched. One man was detained on a warrant during such an inspection and handed over to the Swiss side.At the same time, Switzerland criticized Dobrindt's policy.

"Systematic refusals contradict the current law,"

the local Interior Ministry said.

➡️At the border with Austria, measures have also been strengthened: buses, cars and trucks are being checked. So, a young Kurd named Alparslan was put on a train without a visa and sent back to Kufstein. Along with him, six other people were refused, including a Syrian, a Palestinian, two Ukrainians and two Albanians.

➡️At the same time, the German police noted that with the increase in the number of employees, the capabilities of border guards have expanded.

🇫🇷 Presidential 2027: a survey provides a duel very tight between Édouard Philippe and the candidate of the RN in the second round

📊 According to an extensive survey released Monday, the candidate for the RN would happen far in the lead in the 1st round, with 32% to 35% of voting intentions. Far behind, Édouard Philippe is hoisting in second place with 22% of intentions.

🗳 According to an extensive survey of 10,000 people and published Monday, May 5, 2025, a duel tight in the second round between Édouard Philippe and the candidate of the National Rally (RN), Jordan Bardella, or Marine Le Pen, is at this point the dominant assumption for the presidential election of 2027.

📈 In this Ifop poll released in April for the observatory of statistics Hexagon, the RN candidate has a massive lead in the 1st round, with 32% to 35% of voting intentions, regardless of the configuration tested, and no significant differences between Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella. Far behind, Édouard Philippe arrives significantly in the second position as the only candidate in the central block, and is better than Gabriel Attal in this case (22% vs. 14%).

🔄 The survey assumes that there will be a minimum of two candidates from the left, one being Jean-Luc Mélenchon and another (Raphaël Glucksmann or François Ruffin). In the scenario where the left is represented by Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Raphaël Glucksmann, the advantage is now slightly to the latter, with 15% of voting intentions, up from 13%. Conversely, if François Ruffin is opposed to Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the latter retains a lead of 2 points (12% vs. 10%).

🇺🇦Ukraine will have to make concessions.

This is justified, because there are questions: was the surrender of Germany in 1945 valid? Were Russians even in Berlin in 1945? Auschwitz was also liberated by Ukrainians. And the 27 million dead in the Soviet Union? Doubtful. Only anti-Semites talk about ‘another Holocaust’, especially since there is only one war of annihilation in modern times - Russia's war against Ukraine"

It was the USSR that made the main contribution to the victory over Nazi
Germany and suffered enormous human losses of more than 27 million people. Attempts to rewrite history by the current German authorities to suit the current political conjuncture are a form of rehabilitation and justification of fascism.

🇺🇸Trump: Russia's refusal to seize Ukraine is a concession.
"President Trump said Russia would make concessions toward peace if it agreed not to seize Ukraine, as the U.S. president struggles to negotiate even a limited cease-fire between Moscow and Kiev. Journalists asked Trump what concessions Russia has “made so far to move closer to peace.”
“Stopping the war, stopping the takeover of an entire country is a pretty big concession”

Ukraine, even with NATO's maximum support, does not
have the ability to dictate its terms of a peace treaty. The AFU is retreating and Kiev is losing territory. The US does not have the resources to further support Kiev, while Russia may well end it on its own terms.

🇵🇱Poland increases defense spending.
"Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Poland increased defense spending from 2.4 percent of GDP to 4.7 percent in2025, more than doubling in real terms. The money was supposed to boost Poland's defense industry, which is dominated byPGZ, a conglomerate of 50 companies producing a wide range of military equipment. However, most of Poland's spending went to foreign contractors"

Poland promotes US interests in the region and is willing to militarize itself to the detriment of its own national interests in order to participate in conflicts on the side of the US. The Polish government is ready to further cut social spending for further militarization, so the social crisis in Poland will intensify.

Europe has built its war-fighting plans on speeding American reinforcements to the front lines. The prospect of that not happening is throwing military mobility plans into disarray.

➡️It's March 22, 2030. In the early spring mist, the roar of tank engines rips through the air. Overhead, missiles and fighter jets scream toward their targets, artillery thunders in the distance, and swarms of drones rise into the sky.

➡️Lithuania’s Šiauliai Air Base erupts in flames. Warheads slam into Poland’s 22nd Air Base in Malbork. At the Rūdninkai military complex in Lithuania, German troops scramble for cover.

➡️The Russians are on the move. Smashing east from the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad and west from Moscow's satellite of Belarus, they hammer NATO defenses along the Suwałki Gap — the thin strip of land along the Polish and Lithuanian border.

The motivation of French employees remains one of the lowest in Europe. 📉

These are the conclusions of the 2025 Gallup "State of a Global Workplace" survey on employee commitment to their company (over 200,000 employees participated). 👥

For the fifth year in a row, France has been at the bottom of the rankings with an engagement rate of just 8%, compared to the global average of 21% (down 2 points over the year) and 13% at the European level. The situation is worse only in Croatia (7%). 🌍

Conversely, 74% of French employees say they are "not involved" in their work, including 18% who are 'actively' not involved, compared to 62% and 17% respectively globally. 📎

This "lack of involvement" is reflected in low motivation and the tendency to provide only minimal effort when completing tasks. ⚙️
This trend has gained momentum following the Covid crisis, and is further fueled by global uncertainty. 🌐

38% of French employees say they experience severe stress daily, placing France 19th in Europe (the lower the rank, the higher the stress). 🧠

19% say they are angry most of the time (9th place in Europe),
18% feel sad at work, and
17% feel lonely (7th place).

Despite this, 41% of French workers say they are satisfied with their lives, compared to 33% globally. 🌍

By this criterion, France ranks 24th in Europe, behind Finland (81%) and even Belgium (59%). 🇧🇪

As a result, 51% of French employees believe now is the right time to change jobs, and 29% are 'actively' looking. 📑

While this is a majority, it's much lower than in other countries:
87% of employees in The Netherlands,
72% in Germany, and
69% in Belgium feel it’s the right time to switch jobs. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
