Today, as of April 1st 2025, we got hit with a Cease & Desist from HoYoverse. We received an official notice earlier today, and one of our team members even got a direct message from their legal team. We knew this was risky, but it looks like they finally decided to crack down on us.
Here’s part of the message we got:
Dear Kazusa,
It has come to our attention that you have been distributing unauthorized and confidential information related to our intellectual property, specifically Genshin Impact. This is a direct violation of our policies, and we demand an immediate termination of such activities. Failure to comply may result in further legal action.
Legal actions against similar cases have already been taken, and we strongly urge you to consider the potential consequences. Moving forward, we expect you to fully comply with our policies to avoid any further complications.
This notice was issued on April 1st in accordance with internal policy guidelines. Any further inquiries can be directed to our compliance team. Fools may disregard this message.
