Putin on the desire to explore Mars:

Today's modern radiation-protective composites will allow, say, cows to fly to Mars and back? Or rabbits, or cats, or dogs. Why not?, the Z-dictator stated.

How about you start by trying to build a halfway decent car to use on earth first? Or, if it just has to be space, then please focus on building B-Arks!

Son of Ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych Makes Billions Selling Coal From Occupied Territories.

The coal goes to Turkey and other countries, and money is stashed offshore, writes IStories.

Coal mines in the occupied territories of Ukraine are now facing bad times. Almost all of them are closed; those that are still capable of generating profits have been given to private owners who hide by registering the business on nominees. IStories found out that former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych’s son, Oleksandr Yanukovych, is behind the largest exporter of coal from the occupied territories.

A company close to him, Energoresurs, which is registered in a shabby building on the outskirts of Rostov-on-Don, has shipped nearly half a million tons of coal abroad over the past two years — mostly to Turkey. The scheme is simple: coal is sold to an offshore company, Energy Union, at a low price, which saves on duties. Then the offshore can sell it anywhere and at any price — all the money will remain in its accounts. This makes of course only sense if these companies are affiliated. Just coincidently the director of the russian branch of Energy Union is also a employee of Energoresurs, and his wife acted as the assignee under the loan agreement for Energoresurs.

Uspenskaya railroad station used to be a border station between Russia and Ukraine. Now it divides Rostov Oblast and occupied Donbas. At this small station, dubbed "The Bermuda Triangle" with only four tracks and no coal-loading equipment, according to customs declarations, wagons with coal are loaded and sent to the West. According to the internal Russian Railways system, which Ukrainian journalists from Inforpost accessed, records sometimes showed that several thousand railcars were supposedly stationed there at once — an impossibility.

The coal listed in customs declarations as “Russian” is, in fact, mined not in Russia but in coal mines in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk. It is then exported abroad by entities linked to Oleksandr Yanukovych, the son of the former president of Ukraine. In 2023–2024, these entities exported nearly half a million tons of anthracite, officially routed through Uspenskaya and the nearby Gukovo station.

Before the war, Donbas was the coal heart of Ukraine. In 2013, coal production in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions was over 60 million tons — roughly three-quarters of all of Ukraine’s coal production (and roughly one-fifth of Russia’s).

Russia has stopped exempting employees of large state and private companies from mobilization

Thus, Russian banks have been recruiting new employees without reservation guarantees for several months now. At Rostec, reservations will only remain for employees “involved in tasks related to military purposes,” and at Rosneft, the issue of issuing reservations to each employee “is now being discussed individually.”

The Z-command stores now fuel in tanker trucks and disguise them in residential courtyards

The Ministry of Deceit has developed a new strategy for storing fuel after the series of successful strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on russian oil depots, which put the supply for the army at risk.
ATESH reports that entire columns of fuel trucks and tankers are leaving Crimea, moving to the front line, and then camouflaging themselves in residential areas and in the yards of Ukrainians.

The "second army in the world" has proven unable to protect its infrastructure, so now it is forced to constantly move fuel, hide it under awnings, in sheds, near stores and residential buildings.

This attempt to avoid attacks is in vain as ATESH records every route and storage point.

Bad news for you, comrade rashists! This is all pointless. We monitor fuel routes daily and promptly pass the data to the right hands, writes ATESH

The State Duma accused NATO of plans to stage a "color revolution" and threatened Russians with life sentences.

NATO countries have intensified the "hybrid war" against Russia and allegedly began to attract terrorist cells to "destabilize the situation" in order to organize "color revolutions," said Vasily Piskarev, head of the State Duma commission to investigate the interference of foreign states in the internal affairs of Putinistan.

He claimed that "the spread of radicalism and extremism has become another, seventh, method of action" by Western countries against Russia. Prior to that, he claimed that other targets of "external influence" were "children and youth, the health of citizens, finance and the economy, the territorial integrity of the state, the spiritual and moral foundations, as well as electoral processes in Russia."

"The Commission records the active use of extremist and terrorist organizations by NATO countries as a means of waging a hybrid war. This is done to achieve greedy geopolitical goals, undermine the domestic political situation, and initiate "color revolutions." The West, in addition to traditional methods of intervention, has switched to intimidation tactics. There are not only threats of murder, terrorist attacks and sabotage, but also specific crimes are being committed," Piskarev said, without providing any details.

Of course the mighty members of the Duma commission have developed additional amendments to the legislation, only to protect citizens and to prevent such "interference" - which consists in toughening punishment for "terrorism, sabotage and involvement in them" up to life imprisonment. In addition, legislators have increased penalties "for involving children in crimes" via the Internet, and "strict criminal liability has been introduced for providing financial or other assistance to a foreign state in activities against the security of Russia."

While this follows ruZZian usual tactic to accuse others of what you are doing yourself, it seems indeed that the Z-regime is getting more concerned by internal resistance.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the destruction of a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft near Toretsk

The moment of the Su-25 crash near Zaitsevo in the Toretsk direction was shown by the 28th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is claimed that the plane was shot down by fire from a MANPADS. The pilot allegedly managed to eject, writes the Z-channel "Military Informant".

"The Mi-8 helicopter tried to evacuate the pilot, but the FPV crews did not allow him to do so. As a result, the helicopter limped back and needs repairs."

There is no official comment from the russian side.

In a text that is very popular in Z-space, Filipov found today the very comprehensible and detailed explanations of milblogger Nikita Tretyakov that those in Russia who understand how war and life at the front work don't go to fight. Only the ignorant, desperate and deluded go.

"Adult men coming to the SMO know catastrophically little about this war. Yes, not all 100%, but the absolute majority come to the front without even the most basic understanding of what war looks like. Many not only do not know how to behave correctly when a kamikaze drone flies at them, but also do not know that such exist at all; not only do they not know how to apply a tourniquet, but have never even seen one on the screen. And in general - they imagine war as almost a victorious march, expect incredible miracles from the modern army of constant and excessive training and provision, support for each soldier with artillery and aviation. When signing a contract for a certain period, they often do not even suspect that contracts are automatically extended and are currently de facto indefinite.

If you read the previous paragraph and find it hard to believe, then you are in the same boat with me. I find it hard to believe that today, almost three years after the war, in the conditions of a huge flow of information, one can remain ignorant. And yet, we encounter such people time and again, and there are more of them in each “wave” of new contract soldiers. But no amount of amazement on your part or ours can even come close to the shock that overtakes such a freshly minted soldier, who knows nothing, on his first combat mission. This is a real shock, often felt by these people as a deception on the part of the system, as a kind of betrayal.

Today, more information is published on the military specialties that interest me almost every day than I can read. ...The notorious truth about the war, its realities from the point of view of a soldier - no one hides. Moreover, you can not only get an idea of war, but also prepare for it: at least get knowledge that can help you survive.

And yet, at the front, we see very few informed or self-prepared recruits. Why? My thoughts followed a well-trodden path: criticism of the major media and criticism of the candidates themselves — like, there’s only positive stuff on TV, and people blindly believe and go without trying to learn anything beyond that. But these factors don’t seem to me to be exhaustive or even fundamental in the formation of this unfortunate phenomenon. It’s impossible that people considering the decision to go to war and risk their lives there don’t try to look deeper into the topic, to figure out where they’re going and what’s going on there. So what then? Why?

The answer was right in front of me all the time, but I refused to see it, stubbornly refused to notice the obvious. Everything is simple and very sad.

Yes, it is not difficult to find out the truth about the war. Yes, most adult men, considering the possibility of going to war, delve into the topic and try to understand what awaits them there. And they understand. And they do not go to the military registration and enlistment office, do not sign a contract, do not go to the front.

The truth of this war is not attractive, not glamorous. It is cruel and disgusting, it stinks of blood and dirt, brutality, a sense of helplessness and uselessness, of almost zero value for life and dignity.

Most people quickly understand this. And they don’t go. Call it “survivor bias” or “negative selection,” but most of those who do go to the front do so precisely because of ignorance. It gives them false hope that the war will help them in their difficult life situations, which push them to this decision. And yes, they have the right to feel deceived, because a choice out of despair is not a choice, just like a choice out of ignorance or induced delusion,” - Nikita Tretyakov.

"Friendly" countries refused to invest in Russia

The Kremlin's hopes that "friendly" countries would replace Western investors for Russia have been in vain. The volume of foreign investment continues to decline rapidly and, as of October 2024, fell to a minimum over the past 15 years, even according to statistics from the Central Bank.

Although Putin declared "maximum openness" to investors from the BRICS countries and urged them to invest "capital" in Russia, the Central Bank's statistics weren't able to record an inflow of money.

For example, the authorities of China, Russia's largest trading partner, with which Putin calls "strategic", banned local companies from investing in the Russian oil and gas sector, refused to invest in the Power of Siberia-2 project, relocated production to surrounding countries and instructed automakers not to build factories in russia.

Before the start of the war, three-quarters of foreign direct investment in Russia was provided by countries from the list of "unfriendly", whose investments ceased after the introduction of sanctions and counter-sanctions. In mining and manufacturing, industries that account for 50% of Russia's GDP and 40% of employment, the conditional "enemies" invested an amount equal to 20% of all fixed assets. Their share is even higher in trade (equal to 80% of fixed assets), finance (almost 70%), as well as in scientific and technical industries (40%), Loko-Invest analysts calculated.

Russia lost $80 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2023, and $138 billion in the first year of the war. The cumulative total in three years is that the pool of FDI in the economy, which was nearly $500 billion before the invasion of Ukraine, has halved to $262 billion.

At the same time, China accounted for only $3.3 billion of direct investment, or 0.66% of the total, India accounted for only $613 million, or 0.012%, and investments from Brazil and South Africa were so insignificant that they were not included in the Central Bank's statistics.

Deputy Gurulev, who called for “killing 20% of Russians” in GULAGs, nuking Europe and bringing back the childlessness tax, was expelled from the Defense Committee.

Kommersant writes that conversations were held with the United Russia member on more than one occasion, with requests "to moderate the level of his public appearances", but Gurulev, obviously, preferred to continue "working on his popularity."

Now he will become a member of the local government committee, perhaps in order to increase the level of self-government of Gurulev himself?

"Russian Community" Hounds 61-Year-Old Activist for Helping Ethnic Russian Emigrants

Lyudmila Lukasheva, 61, head of the Ural Association of Refugees, was attacked by members of the 'Russian Community' after her words were taken out of context and presented as “liberal support for illegal migrants."

There are more than 2000 comments, mostly insulting “migrant doormat” or demands to "kick her out" or "kill her".

"I have been defending the rights of my compatriots for 30 years. The right of a Russian, connected to our country by origin, to live in Russia. Now a handful of Russian people who came from Kazakhstan and other former Soviet republics are like hostages, they are being deported, essentially, to nowhere. Over the years of living in Russia, they have lost all connections in those countries."

Lyudmila Lukasheva fears for her safety because of threatening calls and messages. She asked the police for protection.

Now it's getting difficult to establish who is a real russian...

Z-channels can be really entertaining, here a post regarding combat donkeys at the front:

“I completely agree with General Sobolev

If only someone would remove the donkeys from the State Duma and send them all to the front , we would have a cannon,”
- “Major Grom”.

Suffocating
Krasnoyarsk is all in toxic smog. This is a common thing in winter.

Because the city with a population of a million in the "great gas superpower" is heated by coal.
There is no main gas supply there at all. And it is not known whether there will be.

But there is an abundance of cries about Europe perishing without russian gas.
