Members of Riverland Active Club met up in March to welcome the coming of the Spring season with a strike training session.
Members conducted cardio warmups followed by boxing drills, footwork drills, and body impact conditioning.
Finally, the meet was closed with a session on the grill and food on the waterfront with Brothers from around our community.

Riverland Active Club is an Active Club based in Eastern Missouri and Illinois. Every week, our members track and submit their numbers for their weekly workout routines, combat training, or a whole range of other activities upholding our Club Maxims "Mens Sana, Corpus Sanum" - Healthy Mind, Healthy Body. These numbers are then aggregated and reported for the group in our Weekly Activity Report.
Why the effort? First, Accountability. Tracking weekly activity keeps our brothers accountable and active. Nobody wants to be the only guy in the group with no numbers (or weak numbers) to turn in for the week. Thus, members must nurture the discipline to stay active and keep up with the pack.
Second, Momentum. tracking weekly activity from our men helps to guarantee our brothers are maintaining momentum in their physical activity in the down time between our larger, formal Active Club meetups.
Lastly, Improvement. You can't manage what you don't measure. Tracking group numbers ensures victory in this regard.
