Have you ever thought about this? Imagine your life is a movie, and you're narrating your story to the audience in a cinema, and they believe the film based on what you say. Even if you succeed at the end of the film, imagine starting the story like this: "From the moment I was born, I ruined the lives of my family and those around me; I caused sadness, depression, poverty..." The audience believes this because you believe it. So, even if your story has a happy ending, they might say, "That unlucky girl," or something similar.
Now imagine saying, "From the moment I was born, life was sad, everything was depressing and silent..." They would still believe it.
But this time, imagine saying, despite all the problems and hardships in your life, "With all the problems, all the hardships, or failures I've faced, and the wounds I carry, I succeeded at the end of my story, and the important thing is that I didn't lose myself." That's precisely when the audience sees you as a hero, stands up, and applauds you.
I'm not saying be a hero or don't talk about your problems. I'm saying don't put yourself down in front of just anyone. Lift yourself up; don't let their empty-mindedness make you empty too. Although I don't often follow this advice myself, I strive to.
