We have had to hear this allegation time and again, both today and in previous years. We have often clenched our fists in silent bitterness at such accusations, made by those who believe they can criticize us from the security of their supposed faith. Even when forced to acknowledge the successes of National Socialism in all areas, they still cling to one final argument—our alleged godlessness.
We have learned that there is no reasoning with such people. We stand above such slander. We no longer concern ourselves with justifying our beliefs to everyone. Instead, let us look to the Führer. Who has not felt the profound holiness of his faith in an almighty Providence in his great speeches? How often has the Führer declared that, in all his actions, he follows the calling of Providence, whose will he deeply feels?
