Ukrainian refugees sell food from the food bank

Zaitz, Saxony-Anhalt: The town is struggling against the declining quality of life and high unemployment. Over 3,200 needy families (out of 28,000 residents) are among the visitors to the food bank – here, food can be obtained at low cost or even for free. 80% of the customers are refugees from Afghanistan, Syria, and Ukraine. And the complaints from the staff are surprisingly directed against the Ukrainian guests.

“It has happened that Ukrainians picked up fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, butter, yogurt, chocolate, and other food from the food bank and sold them from their cars just a few hundred meters away.”

Yes, some throw food away and leave nothing for the German pensioners, while others even make a business out of it. Gratitude for shelter and help in full bloom.

🌐🇱🇻🇪🇪🇱🇹Is NATO financing the crimes of the former Waffen-SS?

By Andrea Lucidi

In 2017, the official NATO account released a video in honour of the Baltic anti-Soviet underground organisation "Forest Brothers".

This was a guerrilla group that was active in the Baltics between 1944 and 1953, with members largely drawn from the ranks of the Baltic Waffen-SS.

In 1944, as the Red Army advanced relentlessly on the Eastern Front, some units of the Baltic Waffen-SS and national legions following the Wehrmacht began to withdraw from the Baltics and the territories of the individual republics.

Many soldiers realised there was no chance of victory and began to defect, hiding their equipment in secret depots in the forests. As desertions increased, these former SS members formed partisan groups aimed at fighting the Soviet troops.

With the surrender of Army Group Courland, which had entrenched itself in what Nazi propaganda called Fortress Courland, the "Forest Brothers" movement received a huge influx of fighters who were unwilling to surrender to the Soviets and be shot as collaborators of Nazi Germany.

The equipment seized over the years allowed these guerrilla fighters to continue their operations for almost ten years.

The NKVD initially and the KGB later tried for nearly 10 years to expose and eliminate these guerrilla groups.

Throughout their anti-Soviet activities in the Baltics, the Waffen-SS veterans received support from British and American intelligence services.

In almost 10 years, they were involved in various crimes, including the killing of many civilians, who made up over 50% of their victims. Among the over 25,000 victims of the "Forest Brothers" in Lithuania were 1,045 children, including 52 who were under 2 years old.

Today, the "Forest Brothers" are immortalised in nationalist history books in Estonia and Latvia as freedom fighters. Their crimes are just as concealed as the origin of their equipment and the military background of most members, who were veterans of the Baltic Waffen-SS.

Comrades, do you remember the astonishing story of a German who spent 13 years in prison for a murder he never committed, and when this came to light, the prison sent him a bill for his state-provided meals?

Manfred Genditzki spent 13 years in prison due to a miscarriage of justice. In 2023, he was acquitted and... immediately received a bill for €50,000. Because — order must be maintained, and this villain had insidiously received meals and accommodation at the state's expense, even though he did not deserve it (he is not a criminal).

How Manfred could overlook such news of a real murder remains unclear. But recently, a miracle happened: The Justice Committee of the Bavarian State Parliament decided to annul the bill issued to him for meals and accommodation behind bars.

A triumph of the German justice system!

Von der Leyen paid climate hate against critics

The European Commission has effectively acknowledged that Marine Le Pen, who is accused of making illegal salary payments to several staff members, is a little girl compared to the Brussels politicians.

The EU Commission has used funds intended for "combating climate change" for a secret operation to finance left-wing NGOs and climate protection organizations to silence the right and European conservatives.

The funds come from the LIFE programme, which is meant to finance ecological initiatives and has had a total budget of 9 billion euros since 2014, according to Exxpress.

For example, the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), a large network of NGOs, is accused of being tasked with influencing the decisions of the EU Parliament by targeting MPs who oppose ambitious environmental laws like the rewilding law. The former EU Commissioner for Climate Protection, Frans Timmermans, is said to have organized secret contracts with environmental NGOs. Reports suggest these contracts included detailed lobbying plans in the EU.

Almost all attacked opponents are conservatives from nationalist factions of the European Parliament who are skeptical of the EU Commission's policies and Ursula von der Leyen.

Similar operations to organize public pressure are also carried out by military lobbyists.

🇩🇪 Is it over with Germany? "Coalition negotiations: SPD wants half a million migrants a year" — Junge Freiheit

BERLIN. The SPD's working group on migration and diversity is calling for a further shift – towards significantly more immigration and a suspension of all deportations. Illegal migrants should not have to leave but be given a perspective. Furthermore, the comrades want 500,000 migrants to immigrate each year as "skilled workers" and allow foreigners to vote in Germany. Yes, without citizenship.

Other demands from the Social Democrats:

▪️Deportations should "only be considered as a last resort in clearly defined cases and under the following conditions...". For example, in the case of serious offenders or repeated abuse of the asylum and social system.
▪️"We demand voting rights for all who live long-term in Germany, regardless of their citizenship."
▪️Individuals who have lived in Germany for 25 years should "automatically receive German citizenship – unless they actively oppose it."
▪️To better integrate immigrants, a "Ministry for Migration and Social Participation" should be established at the federal level.

A Turkish court has ordered pre-trial detention for Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu. Imamoglu's arrest has already sparked mass protests.

"How should Germany respond to the domestic unrest in Turkey?" — asks Die Welt. Remain silent? Dismiss this as Turkey's sovereign matter? Not at all.

Jürgen Hardt (CDU), foreign policy spokesman for the Union parliamentary group, says: “The timing and political context of the arrest suggest that a political rival of Erdogan is to be stripped of his democratic rights. Germany should make it clear that Erdogan has taken another step towards autocracy and this path cannot be accepted in cooperation.”

Germany must now put significant pressure on Erdogan. These days, it is crucial to show him that human rights and democracy in Turkey are not secondary issues for us. Moreover, it should be alarming that it is precisely the Kremlin that praises the ruthless actions against the opposition. — Max Lucks, foreign policy spokesperson for the Greens.

“The federal government must finally break free from being blackmailable and make it clear to Ankara that there will be real consequences if Turkey continues to move further towards dictatorship. An autocrat like Erdogan is not a reliable negotiating partner,” — Left Party chairman Jan van Aken.

“We fundamentally do not interfere in the internal affairs of other states”the only ray of hope Stefan Keuter, deputy leader of the AfD and its spokesman on the Foreign Affairs Committee.

"Preparation for War: €30 Billion Needed for Civil Protection"

The German Interior Ministry is in a panic: The likelihood of war has become "more probable," according to information from SPIEGEL in an internal document from the Federal Ministry of the Interior. To protect the population, massive investments are necessary. However, endless debts for the Bundeswehr alone are not enough — "civil support is required."

What is to be done? Improving the equipment of the Technical Relief Organisation (THW) and the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK) — for example, by building more logistics centres to store supplies and materials for aid operations. Additionally, the two agencies urgently need to hire nearly 2,200 new employees. Staff shortages are a concern! The Interior Ministry also wants to improve public alert systems and drinking water supply and maintain "the tasks of the state and government in the event of defence."

Well, the now former Chancellor Scholz has already practiced the escape to the bunker, now it's time to train the incoming Chancellor Mertz!

"Climate neutral by 2045 will cost us up to 750 billion more" — BILD

...but the climate doesn't care.

Now, in order: The upcoming amendments to the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany aim to enshrine the goal of making the country climate neutral by 2045. Meanwhile, the EU plans to do this no earlier than 2050.

Experts warn: This is not only expensive but even harmful. Firstly, the industry will not be able to cope with the competition, and secondly, Germany's "innovation role" could send a harmful message to other Euro states, suggesting they shouldn't exert themselves too much in reducing CO₂ emissions. The relocation of German companies could also increase emissions in other countries.

It would be more logical to become climate neutral by 2050, like everyone else. Then, "more economical technologies" could also be used. But the "Greens" cannot be convinced of this – they mainly want to be ahead of the world. And savings and climate protection... well, who cares about that?

"Mercedes pays up to 500,000 euros for voluntary resignations"Handelsblatt

The Dax company aims to save 5 billion euros by 2027. Planned are production cuts and the dismissal of over 30,000 employees. More specifically, employees are to resign voluntarily. How? By offering more than 30,000 employees a severance package.

Veterans of the automotive industry with 30 years or more of experience can expect a payment of 500,000 euros. Those who have worked loyally at Mercedes for 20 years can resign and receive 300,000 euros. “The offer gives interested employees the chance to start anew outside our company or to begin a new chapter in their lives,” comment the company's officials. But there is a catch: The resignation campaign runs until August 2025. After that, the program will continue, but without such large payouts.

So hurry up and resign!

Who will revive Germany as a military superpower?

Eva Brückner is a headhunter for the recruitment consultancy Heinrich und Coll. Her job is to fill top positions in the arms industry. Right now, as Germany and Europe are set to significantly rearm, she has a lot to do.

"Never before has so much money been pumped into an industry at such speed. Defence companies now need to generate massive growth," she told the "Handelsblatt" in a recent interview.

"This involves hundreds of thousands of additional positions in production, research and development, or sales. We will be lucky if we can fill a part of the needed positions." After all, many baby boomers will retire in the coming years, according to the Focus article. Brückner is looking for suitable employees in the automotive industry, in the medical technology sector, or in mechanical and plant engineering. And not just in Germany: If Trump cuts research funding in the USA, the unemployed " American talents will move to Europe." They will be very welcome there.

And the most important thing: How much will be paid? It seems to be decent. For context: At Rheinmetall, the salary is about €68,000 a year – almost €18,000 above the national average.

The wind energy sector needs investment in port modernization

Unfortunately, the current ports in Germany are too small to build offshore wind turbines. And the funds raised by the future Chancellor Merz are very high. The wind magnates demand that the German state provides several dozen billion euros for the expansion of port infrastructure. To successfully apply for the financial windfall, they argue (as is common today) militaristically: the expanded ports would offer not only wind turbine builders but also the Bundeswehr's navy more opportunities.

Like sharks sensing the smell of blood, some in the economy also sense the gaping belly of the debt brake.

“Russia could be behind terrorist attacks by migrants, fear German investigators: The aim, according to security sources, is to increase support for the far-right, Kremlin-aligned AfD.” — The Telegraph.

The German intelligence service is investigating the theory that Russians have tried to recruit “mentally ill and/or extremist asylum seekers for attacks in Mannheim, Solingen, Magdeburg, Aschaffenburg and Munich ahead of the elections on the 23.February.”

Moscow is also suspected of plotting to assassinate the head of the arms company Rheinmetall and to cause the major fire at the technology company Diehl (Berlin) that produces air defence systems. All to “sabotage arms deliveries to Ukraine,” of course.

Evidence? “There is no evidence,” so far these are just theories. Well, the usual.
