Junior sergeant Dmytro Sobchuk, an operator of the fire support unit of the “Revanche” Tactical Group of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, was killed in action while performing a combat mission.
Callsign “Borsuk” didn’t wait for orders—he took initiative. He didn’t look for the easy way—he searched for the right one.
His decisions saved time, effort, and lives.
Always ready to take on the hardest, dirtiest tasks, he thought not only of himself, but of his comrades.
Danger didn’t deter him—he found smart ways around it.
Wise beyond his years, he always knew what to say—and when.
On April 13, 2025, Dmytro fell alongside his brother-in-arms, killed by an enemy FPV drone.
