There’s something about this message that makes me feel that what he saying a lot of us can relate to.

Today, is allegedly the pagan holiday of Easter.

I just looked on Facebook and I would say that 70% of the friends I have are posting pictures of their kids with the Easter ears on and chocolates and everything else that’s not about the real reason for this Resurrection day.

I will be honest, that was me at one point, but today I sit and think about all the things that I am grateful for.

As I sit here with the window open, I’m listening to birds talk to each other and it’s a beautiful thing to hear.

I refuse to be a part of these rituals anymore, and I just set my eyes on today knowing it’s a present that I woke up today.
