"In 1992, photographer Scott Gardner stumbled upon one of nature’s strangest anomalies a toad with eyes inside its mouth. Discovered in a backyard in Burlington County, Ontario, this rare macromutation placed the toad’s eyes just below the roof of its mouth, forcing it to live with its mouth constantly open.
