When your [private] landlord and their legal team insist that you are responsible for 'tenant-caused condensation,' despite the fact that this issue arises beneath you, twice daily, for 10 months, whenever your housemates take a shower, and you live directly above it - on timbers infested with wet rot, mould and weevils, on joists that are structurally unsound due to damp caused by this long-standing flooding, with lino and carpet that rests atop decaying, warped wood, riddled with pests, vast holes and cracks allowing the stench of this pathogenic cesspit to contaminate your living space.
Yep… the damp, mould, condensation, and the foul stench in my flat are clearly my doing...!
For those wondering why I've been quiet in recent months, or perhaps not as present as usual, the truth is, I am living above a festering, pathogenic nightmare (this isn't the only issue at my property) that's riddled with E. coli (as am I). And I am fighting, for the first time in many years, for a shred of justice for myself.
This situation has pushed me to the edge. I am broken, physically and mentally, and to be candid, I reached my breaking point months ago. Yet still, I am being blamed, but still, I am fighting.
Additionally, the council did visit and observe the situation firsthand, yet what followed was a barely legible, informal email to my landlord, after they had asked for his phone number. It seems to me they were more interested in a casual chinwag than taking any meaningful action; the council is as corrupt as any other government body beholden to the interests of anyone but 'the people' they actually work for; as if I didn't already know that. I am not sure what I hoped for by involving them, I just felt so helpless!
There is almost no one willing to help. If anyone out there can offer assistance - whether legal, a surveyor, anything - I am in South Yorkshire and I am utterly desperate... though 'desperate' doesn’t even begin to capture the reality of what I feel!
If this matter escalates to court, which seems increasingly likely, I will speak on it publicly (while carefully adhering to my legal obligations and the sub judice rules) as it may help others suffering the same. And though it may come wrapped in disgusting packaging, this situation offers an opportunity, a surprising 'gift'... to sharpen my legal skills, as I continue my law studies.
As they say, every cloud has a silver lining... but this one’s more like a massive, shitstorm packed cloud smelling like pests, rot and feces, with a silver lining the size of a postage stamp.

I believe Keir Starmer & David Lammy could be forced to step down tomorrow if they were questioned in Parliament over their obvious complicity in War Crimes and investigated by a people's Tribunal. Labour is not going to turn against them, The Conservatives will not challenge them on this, and neither will Reform.
Once again it is down to the people to do this. I think there should be a movement in civil society that does not fall under the "pro-Palestinian" banner, a movement that does not hide its real objectives behind Palestinian flags.
I believe the movement needs to be in defence of International Law. In defence of the rights of life of civilians in every conflict. Maybe it can be called a pro-Life movement, or more easily an anti-War movement that does not take a knee-jerk position behind any national flag, Palestinian flag included.

I was unaware that there was something called One Health (or Global One Health).

I was unaware that there was something called One Health (or Global One Health).
But there is. The assumption is that humans, animals and “the environment” are variously susceptible to the same challenges. There is a Venn diagram showing this, with “One Health” in the centre overlapping area.
Scanning the Wikipedia entry about it, it’s evidently a creature of the UN & thus of the perpetrators.
Unfortunately, Trump has just appointed to Dr Gerald Parker as the Director of the White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy.
The White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy is tasked with overseeing the development of next-generation countermeasures, including vaccines and treatments.
Please understand that the response to COVID-19 was NOT handled by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Parker just shills a big bunch of lies about infectious diseases.
He bangs on about the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic, which definitely never happened.
Then he reviews other “emerging infectious diseases crisis”.
He comes into government directly from One Health.
I think we’re going to get more familiar than we’d like with this gentleman. Unfortunately.
There is no scientific evidence for the very existence of viral infectious disease pathogens. Contagion isn’t a thing. Pandemics have never happened & cannot happen. The entire field is a lie designed to cause fear and to justify extraordinary & authoritarian control by our own governments.
