Though accurately describing them as terrorists, the phrasing would seem to suggest that the forces involved in this genocide did not have the support from Damascus' new government.

▪Even if Putin agrees to a temporary ceasefire, he will use it to rebuild and rearm his troops. He will most likely violate the terms of the agreement by creating a provocation that he will blame on Ukraine.
▪There is no sign that Putin has backed down from his demand to bring Ukraine into the Russian orbit. He has a long-standing desire to restore "Mother Russia" (?)
